So, Glyph of Arcane Power lasts 20 seconds with a 45 second recharge, and Glyph of Elemental Power does the same thing for 10 seconds with a 105 second recharge. I'm assuming at least one of those figures is out of date, or we have a really weird skill balance on our hands here. Is this skill supposed to force crits on the next 5 counts of damage, or the next 5 activations of skills? I've noticed that when pairing this with Dragon's Claw, the first use marks all three projectiles as critical hits, while all subsequent uses seem to return to standard calculation, though oftentimes one of the next three projectiles will inflict critical damage. My initial thought when I saw this skill, was that in pairing these two skills together, I would accomplish a total of 15 counts of critical damage, though this doesn't appear to be the case. As seen in this link, glyph of arcane power seems to have been changed into an Arcane skill. I was wondering if it is appropriate to move this page to something like "Arcane Power (skill)", but I have no idea if that is appropriate... -- Frozzen 08:19, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Only lasts 3 attacks?[edit]

I just started using arcane power on my elementalist (just got it unlocked only level 13) and I noticed it runs out after only 3 attacks instead of 5, is it bugged? 06:05, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Does that trigger "on critical hit" effects?[edit]

I did some testing and it seems this ability won't help you trigger "on critical hit" effects (like for example "Weak Spot" trait) with an 100% chance - only your normal crit. chance will work during the Arcane Power effect. It seems it only increases damage, as the skill's description suggest. Could be wrong though cause i am noob in GW2 and my test could be wrong i guess. 10:29, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Seems right to me. The damage of the attacks is set to critical values but the sigil/trait will only trigger on an actual critical hit (signified by the red splash behind the damage number.) --Combatter (talk) 17:31, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
