Character biography[edit]

Do you think that this is a moment where the plot splits cause of our choice in biography? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Shan The Reaper (talk).

I am fairly sure this is in fact not Blood Legion. I have nothing to argue for this other than a biography option being the sire, and this quest is solely focused on the sire of the PC. Other than Brimstone, there's nothing to link to the Blood Legion. Konig/talk 23:11, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
But previous missions were from Blood Legion story line, so this mission might be for every character but the content may depend on what player had chosen in question about who have sired him. Shan 19:47, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
There might be something like An Unusual Inheritance for Blood legion and An Unusual Inheritance for Iron legion etc. with some minor or even major differencies. Balwin 19:55, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
Well, I still think it depends on our choice of who sired us like in human's mission where you have to defeat the clown, because the biggest regret of the character is the missed opportunity to perform in the circus. Shan 20:29, 13 March 2012 (UTC)~
The point of a charr character's personal story is to have some bonding time with Rytlock. He should be present regardless of legion.
I'm nearly positive this is the Loyal Soldier father tree (because the gladium and sorcerer options don't fit the dialogue) but that's speculative. Aqua (T|C) 22:22, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
It's also speculation to say it's Blood Legion just because the earlier ones are Blood Legion. Considering that this holds a different story than the previous ones (which were all about chain of command and then fighting off the Flame Legion), I'd say that this is a different story arc. We already know that GW2 is divided into various story arcs, so this looks like where it'd split to me. Konig/talk 22:55, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I agree with the opinion, that this is the Loyal Soldier "story arc" (and that selecting another option about the father will lead to another story mission). The question I have is: Will everyone, who has selected 'Loyal Soldier' will come to this story mission (regardless of the selected legion)? Or will there some (minor or major) differencies depending of the selection legion? But I think we can't answer this at this moment. Balwin 08:29, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

I can confirm this appears regardless of legion choice. I had this exact quest come up in the Iron Legion line, having checked 'Loyal Soldier' in my biography --Thervold 18:17, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
