Anyone else see her becoming the next Nick at some point in the future? --98.180.24.204 12:33, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

I thought about the same. I'm sure Ameranth and Anna are Nicholas and Yakkington of GW2. -- Sagi User Sagittario Asura symbol.png 13:13, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
The official wiki is not a place for speculation: we're not a forum. - Infinite - talk 14:25, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Not speculation, it's too obvious to deny except for doublethinking.94.208.171.67 14:41, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Until we see it in the game or Anet confirms it, it is speculation, no matter how "obvious" it is. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 14:45, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
@Infinite: Aren't these discussion pages meant to be a place to disscus? The page itself is an official page, I think this place the right place for speculations and discussions. -- Sagi User Sagittario Asura symbol.png 14:51, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
I do believe it has been said that discussion pages are for discussing the ARTICLE, not the TOPIC. Meaning, this is for discussing the layout, what should be corrected/edited, changes that could be made, or validating the accuracy of certain facts. This page is for making sure that the article is the best it can be, not for discussing the topic in general. :) As Infinite said, there are forums dedicated to discussing the topic specifically. Apologies, I shouldn't have brought it up, these are for the articles, not the topics--98.180.24.204 16:26, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
No need to worry. It is an excellent topic to discuss, which is why I DEFINITELY encourage you to continue it on that thread I posted-- so many possibilities for an NPC like this. :D (I too hope she will be the next Nicholas). Best wishes! ~Matt AmannelleUser Amannelle Me.jpg 17:15, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Kicking in open doors is not speculation. Claiming you most likely have 5 toes per foot is not speculation, it's stating the obvious, even though there are quite some people missing toes. That being said, mentioning it in the article would be too much since mentioning 10 toes would be a bit superfluous too. People reading the discussion will see that people more or less agree on nick being implemented.94.208.171.67 18:04, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
You cannot force a game implementation by posting here or by bombarding the dev's with spam. you can see where $40,000.00 will buy if you have that much to throw around. That being said... see March_2012:_State_of_the_Game and Talk:March_2012:_State_of_the_Game for clues and hints on Nicholas the Traveler. Rudhraighe 18:59, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
Uh... you did read the big notice at the top of that page, right? —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 20:08, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
So, if we eventually see a character in the style of Nick, there should probably be a section listing the current experience, a section explaining how it works, and a link to the research page, that would have a list of previous locales, and unvisited locales, with all the data from the old locales saved somewhere clean. On an unrelated note, am I blind, or is the minor edit check box gone? --98.180.24.204 02:30, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry that was me forgot to log in. Also, found the minor edit checkbox--Indigo121 02:31, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
@Ish and Infinite: who cares? This isn't the Shadow Prison talk page, or Izzy's talk, or anything like that. If someone wants to talk about the game, why shouldn't they? -- Armond WarbladeUser Armond sig image.png 02:44, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
My understanding of existing consensus is that, with the presence of an official forum for GW2 (even though it's not currently available), the wiki should not serve double-duty as a forum like GW1W did. Talk pages should be for wiki-related discussion, not for speculation or vacuous comments like "SQUEE! THAT ARMOR LOOKS AWESOME!" If I misunderstood this, then I apologize. In any case, I never told anyone not to talk about anything in this discussion - I merely reestablished the meaning of "speculation". —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 03:20, 22 May 2012 (UTC)
