Watch your step, friend. This is a dolyak graveyard. Older dolyaks from the Hinterland leave their herds and travel here to die.

They come all the way here to die?

When a dolyak becomes weak or injured, a burden to the herd, they make the journey here, where they calmly await death. I like to think they share stories in dolyak language, but I'm a romantic.

Why should I watch my step?

Many years ago, a gang of bandits holed up in [sic] small cave nearby. They didn't respect the spirits of this place, and ... well, no one lived to tell the tale. Except me. But I won't.
