From those who are just beginning their spellcasting journey to those who are looking for an accessible review of ward-spell basics, Ludwig's strives to be the go-to reference material for all manners of casting, disabling, and incatation.
Since his own spellcasting journey began nearly two-hundred years ago, Tobias Ludwig sought to dedicate his life to the study of ward spells and their application. Ultimately, this pursuit grew to include what Ludwig would eventually refer to as his life's calling: teaching.
Ludwig's introduction to ward spells was as hunble as his roots. After putting in an exhausting day's work on his family's farm, he and his twin brother Elias would retire to the barn and blow off steam the way siblings do best: smacking each other senseless. It was these formative years of roughhousing that gave Ludwig ample opportunity to test out his spellcasting skills. Elias proved a worthy and more-than-willing opponent. And since Tobias had no desire to cause actual damage to his brother (not to mention that their mother would have been furious), protection wards became his personal favorite. Hard to imagine that sibling roughhousing would get the ball rolling on what would eventually become some of the most groundbreaking developments in magical defensive work of the modern age.
