Dialogue[edit]

In Borderlands
Welcome to the Mists, soldier! Feeling a little lost? Don't worry, I can help you find your way around.
Talk more option tango.png Thanks, I am lost.
There's a lot to learn, but the basics are simple. What would you like to know?
Talk more option tango.png What am I supposed to do here?
You're here to help us win the Battle for the Mists. Our hold on territory here sends power streaming back to Tyria.
Talk more option tango.png Interesting. So how do we win?
Simple. We hold more territory than the other teams. Check the War Score panel for a sense of how the battle's going. You'll also find our current Power of the Mists bonus there.
Talk more option tango.png War Score? What's that? (Same as "War Score? What's that?" below)
Talk more option tango.png I've still got some questions. (Returns to the start of the conversation)
Talk end option tango.png Got it. I'm off to defeat the enemy!
Talk more option tango.png Would you mind if I ask something else? (Returns to the previous dialogue options)
Talk end option tango.png Go fight. Got it.
Talk more option tango.png How do we win or even know when we're winning? (Same as "Interesting. So how do we win?")
Simple. We hold more territory than the other teams. Check the War Score panel for a sense of how the battle's going. You'll also find our current Power of the Mists bonus there.

Talk end option tango.png Got it. I'm off to defeat the enemy!
Talk more option tango.png War Score? What's that?
War Score accumulates every few minutes, based on what each team owns. A supply camp is worth 2 points, towers are 4 points each, keeps are worth 8 each, and Stonemist Castle is 12 points.
Talk more option tango.png Wow, this is a lot to take in. Can I ask something else? (Returns to the start of the conversation)
Talk end option tango.png Great, thanks for the explanation!
Talk more option tango.png I understand the basics. What kind of advanced knowledge can you share?
Sadly, your advanced questions will have to wait until my new battle plans arrive.
Talk more option tango.png Maybe I should review the basics.
Talk end option tango.png I guess it's time to go crush the enemy, then! (Returns to the start of the conversation)
Talk end option tango.png Thanks, but I don't think I have any other questions just now.
Talk quest choice tango.png Can you give me a quick overview of the area? (Opens up the map and shows the basic areas)
Instructor: You have a lot to learn, recruit, but I'm going to teach you how to survive—and win—out here. The goal is to capture and hold key points, because doing so provides us with extra power we can use against our enemies. Let's begin bygoing over the areas we'll need to capture and hold.
Instructor: Towers are worth their weight in gold. Control one of these locations, and you'll control the local roads. A tower also makes for a great base of operations.
Instructor: Keeps are massive structures that require a significant, sustained effort to capture. You will need siege weapons and a large group of adventurers to breach a keep's walls and defeat its lord.
Talk quest choice tango.png Are there any other special area I should know about? (Opens up the map and shows the jumping puzzle)
Instructor: There's rumor of a treasure vault hidden somewhere in this area. Those wo have found it say that you'll need a key to gain access to its treasure. Be sure not to lose your keeps and towers while seeking these riches.
Talk end option tango.png Thanks, but I already know my way around.

(Shows Resource camps, Towers, Keeps as above)
Instructor: Stonemist Castle dominates the middle of these battlegrounds and has defenses like no other place in the Mists. You'll need plenty of siege weapons and allies if you plan on assaulting this imposing fortress.
Talk quest choice tango.png Are there any other special area I should know about? (Opens up the map and shows the area of potential allies)
Instructor: There are a number of potential allies in the Mists that we can rally to our cause. They'll need convincing to join us, but their assistance could bring us victory. Find them and learn how you can recruit them.
Talk end option tango.png Thanks, but I already know my way around.
