Environmental weapon (bundle) format[edit]
I'm getting a little tired of piecing together the templates needed to make a bundle article, so I modified the style guide entry to be more handy. SarielV 15:45, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
{{Object infobox | name = <!-- Name of object. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}}. --> | icon = <!-- Map icon or collection event icon of object. Rare for environmental weapons and can be omitted. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}}.png --> | image = <!-- Image of the object. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}}.jpg. Set to "no" if no image. --> | location = <!-- Areas the object is located in --> | type = <!-- bundle or static weapon --> | req = <!-- Item required to interact with object. Rare for environmental weapons and can be omitted. --> | gives = <!-- Item or effect received upon interacting with object. If item, remove type above and skills table below, as this article is not the actual environmental weapon. --> | goal = <!-- Optional. Event/heart the object is associated with --> | interact = <!-- n if item cannot be dropped and retaken, or is never interacted with directly. Remove otherwise --> | destruct = <!-- y if the object can take damage and/or be destroyed. Remove otherwise --> | map1...map4 = <!-- Optional. Map of the location of the object. Defaults to {{PAGENAME}} location.jpg --> | map1-text...map4-text = <!-- Optional. Caption of the map location --> }} The <object> is <description>. ==Location== ; <region> * <zone 1> ** <area 1> ** <area 2> * <zone 2> ** <area 1> ** <area 2> == Story involvement == <!-- Optional. Include if object is involved in a story mission. Order chronologically. --> === [[Personal story/Living World Season #/<Expansion> story]] === * Episode/Act/Chapter #: [[Name]] ** [[Instance name]] ==Event involvement== <!-- List all events that use this bundle --> * {{event|}} ==Skills== <!-- List the skills given by the bundle. --> {| {{STDT| <!-- pve for object, item for consumable bundle --> }} {{Environmental skill table header}} {{Environmental skill table row|<skill 1>}} {{Environmental skill table row|<skill 2>}} {{Environmental skill table row|<skill 3>}} {{Environmental skill table row|<skill 4>}} {{Environmental skill table row|<skill 5>}} <!-- If skill slot number does not match the slot on the bundle, add |<slot #> after <skill #> --> <!-- If chain skill, add |chain=y after <skill #> --> |}
- If the object cannot be destroyed, you can completely remove the destruct parameter as it's set to negative by default. Also, objects sometimes can't be interacted with, so adding an option for the interact parameter to be negative might be a good idea. —Ventriloquist 15:58, 19 July 2016 (UTC)
Regions[edit]
I find having region in the infobox somewhat unneeded/redundant. Would anyone object to it being removed? - Doodleplex 01:48, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- Since putting it in there, I have deleted it every time I've used it. Removing it now. SarielV 16:11, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
- I did realize later that region is useful for some of the logging and plant nodes(ie Orrion Sapplings = region is Orr only). As a result, I'm not going to delete/remove it completely from the template, but it really should only be used for those two things when it applies. - Doodleplex 18:29, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
