Guild Wars 2 International All-Stars Tournament
The Guild Wars 2 International All-Stars Tournament was an exhibition match will pit top players from North America, Europe, and China against each other in the first truly global Guild Wars 2 event.
Roster[edit]
The roster of players selected for the Guild Wars 2 International All-Stars Tournament was selected and voted on by the Guild Wars 2 community from a pool of 32 players selected by ArenaNet. The ten players with the most community votes from the NA and EU regions (five from each region) were invited to participate. The Chinese All-Star team was selected by ArenaNet's Chinese partner, Kong Zhong, from their weekly tournament series. In addition to an invitation to participate in the tournament, selected players also received paid for accommodation and travel expenses to and from the tournament.

Rewards[edit]
- First place: Each member of the first place team will receive their choice of a legendary weapon, one PvP tournament-exclusive armor set, and the First Place Trophy Finisher.
- Second place: Each member of the second place team will receive a precursor of their choice, one PvP tournament-exclusive armor set, and the Second Place Trophy Finisher.
- Third place: Each member of the third place team will receive three individual pieces of the PvP tournament-exclusive armor set, and the Third Place Trophy Finisher.
Trivia[edit]
- Community member Blu (aka John Mullen), known for his shout casting of Guild Wars 2 sPvP matches, was crowd funded by the Guild Wars 2 community (including a personal donations from ArenaNet's Game Director Colin Johanson) to fly to Gamescom where he both shout cast the tournament and conducted interviews with the competing teams and ArenaNet staff.
