I'm Folien. This is my partner Renk and my children, Brettok and Lintel. You should be careful. This area isn't as secure as it once was.

What are you doing here?

We were driven from our homestead by Sons of Svanir. They ambushed my family so they could set up an encampment.

Why don't you fight to take your home back?

My family's safety comes first. I'll fight to the death for family, not for property or territory.

But why here? Why this spot?

As we were escaping, my partner caught a Svanir arrow in the leg. We traveled this far but had to give his leg a chance to heal.

I could confront the Svanir for you.

Why? They have nothing I want. Besides, this is a pleasant enough spot. Water nearby, plenty of game to hunt. The stars at night. And so far, the Svanir patrols haven't ventured this far.
