"Dhuum's Theme" is a recurring instrumental theme composed by Maclaine Diemer which musically represents Dhuum, the former God of Death. The theme made its debut during the Hall of Chains raid.

Use in Guild Wars 2[edit]

Hall of Chains[edit]

"Dhuum's Theme" makes its first appearance in "The Hall of Judgement" track which plays as Dhuum battles Desmina, the Seven Reapers and the raiders in the Hall of Chains. While the first half presents fragmented passages of "Desmina's Theme", the second half transitions into oppressive, lumbering brass which announce Dhuum's theme as the God of Death leaves his throne to engage in the battle personally.

The theme returns in a cinematic depicting Dhuum's defeat, playing when his soul leaves his dark armor and is trapped inside a magical, chained prison while the smirking Desmina watches on.
