Combat Master is an NPC located in Hall of Memories, standing near the Practice Golem - Dodge Roll Trainer 2000. He directs player towards the sparring NPCs near Fallen Halls of Glory, the Practice Golem, as well as Chieftain Utahein and Svanir, that are located near Forest of Aarden.

I am the master of combat. Behind me, you will find a forest full of creatures, just for you to hone your battle skills. You can also practice dodging, or test your skills against some sparring partners.

Sparring partners?

I'd recommend practicing with a dodging dummy first. Once you master the timing on dodging, you can master your class-specific skills with a sparring partner.

Where can I find these sparring partners?

Just travel along the road to the northeast, until you reach the Fallen Halls of Glory.

The most important thing you can learn in combat is how and when to dodge. Next to me I have a dodging trainer. It will swing at you, and you can practice dodging its attacks.

How do I dodge again?

You can double tap one of your movement keys to dodge in that direction. While you dodge, you are immune to incoming attacks. Try it against a dodging dummy!

You can battle any of the creatures in competitive PvP maps. They will attack you if you get too close, so be ready to defend yourself. If you learn their abilities here, you won't be surprised when you see them in a PvP map.

Where can I find these creatures?

Just travel to the southeast and past the old ruins. Continue into the forest until you see them.
