Ai,

We made it! I am so excited to have finally stepped foot on these shores.

After a short trek up the coast, we met with the mainland forces. They are awe-inspiring, Ai. The quality of their armor...WOW! And the Royal Guard! I had heard a few things from the other soldiers, but to see them in person... I was barely able to stand straight and attentive. Someone called them the Seven Canthan Spears. Apparently they are Usoku's best women and men. I'm glad they're on our side.

OH! OH! The stories are true, Ai. The forest is BEAUTIFUL! I don't want to spoil the surprise. I wish you were here to see it. I'm going to take you and Lan on a trip as soon as I'm home.

Tell Lan I'm bringing her back one of those spears!
