Southern Invasion of Orr is a meta event that takes place in Straits of Devastation and is part of the larger Temple of Balthazar meta event.
Dynamic events[edit]
- (1) A siege weapon team is heading to Thunderhead Battery to retake it from the undead and start the land assault on Orr.
- Protect the Pact Siege Team as it sets up trebuchets (71)
- (success) The siege weapons at Thunderhead Battery are back in action. Risen won't wait long before trying to take them out. Continues at (2)
- (failure) Thunderhead Battery has fallen to the risen. The Pact are mustering at Fort Trinity to prepare for their assault. Goes to (1) (Repeats until success)
- Protect the Pact Siege Team as it sets up trebuchets (71)
- (2) Risen are attempting to destroy the siege weapons at Thunderhead Bay. The loss of the battery would jeopardize the southern assault.
- Defend the Pact trebuchets from the undead (71)
- (success) Thunderhead Battery has been successfully defended. The Pact is planning the next phase of the southern assault. Continues at (3)
- (failure) Thunderhead Battery has fallen to the risen. The Pact are mustering at Fort Trinity to prepare for their assault. Goes back to (1)
- Defend the Pact trebuchets from the undead (71)
- (3) A team is attempting to drive the Risen from Izz-al-Din Sarayi in order to open a way to Orr.
- Defend Agent Carver as she attempts to capture Izz-al-Din Sarayi (72)
- (success) Izz-al-Din Sarayi has been captured by the Pact. Holding the island is key to traversing the straits. Continues at (4)
- (failure) The Pact failed in their assault on Izz-al-Din Sarayi. Risen are gathering in numbers and threatening Thunderhead Battery. Goes back to (2)
- Defend Agent Carver as she attempts to capture Izz-al-Din Sarayi (72)
- (4) Risen are attempting to retake Izz-al-Din Sarayi. If the outpost is lost, the push to Orr will be jeopardized.
- Defend Agent Carver from Risen attackers (72)
- (success) The Risen attempt to reclaim Izz-al-Din Sarayi has failed. Supplies are inbound to the assault team that will help break down the gates to Orr. Continues at (5)
- (failure) The Pact failed in their assault on Izz-al-Din Sarayi. Risen are gathering in numbers and threatening Thunderhead Battery. Goes back to (2)
- Defend Agent Carver from Risen attackers (72)
- (5) Weapon supplies are being escorted to the southern shore of Orr. Without the additional firepower, the gates of Orr will never fall.
- Escort the weapons transport to Lasciate Gate on Orr (73)
- (success) The weapon supplies have arrived at Orr. The assault on the gate is about to begin. Continues at (6)
- (failure) The supply caravan carrying vital weapons for the assault on Orr has been destroyed. The team at Izz-al-Din Sarayi is in danger until the gate is destroyed. Goes back to (4)
- Escort the weapons transport to Lasciate Gate on Orr (73)
- (6) The assault on the Lasciate Gate is on. Once the gate has been destroyed, the Pact will have established a foothold in Orr.
- Use Pact weaponry from the weapons transport to break through Lasciate Gate (74)
- (success) The Lasciate Gate has been destroyed, and the Pact are establishing a camp in Orr. Continues at (7)
- (failure) The assault on the Lasciate Gate has failed. It will take time to gather more weapons with which to assault the gate. Goes back to (4)
- Use Pact weaponry from the weapons transport to break through Lasciate Gate (74)
- (7) The Lone Post is under assault by Risen. If it falls, the Pact will no longer have an entry point into Orr.
- Defend the Lone Post from the Risen hordes (74)
- (success) The Risen assault on the Lone Post has failed. The Pact remain in control of the southern entrance to Orr. Continues at (7) (Repeats until failure)
- (failure) The assault on the Lasciate Gate has failed. It will take time to gather more weapons with which to assault the gate. Goes back to (4)
- Defend the Lone Post from the Risen hordes (74)
