Orson is a human working at the Ettinworks Lab in Lornar's Pass, Southern Shiverpeaks. He is part of an event chain in the south of Lornar's Pass, near Demon's Maw, at the end of which he becomes a merchant. He seeks to understand ettins in order to overcome his childhood fear of them, something which his colleague, Venpa, openly mocks.

Can you help me? My colleague was testing an invention for me and ran into a bit of a problem.

I made an ettin suit to try and help me research the ettins to the south. It should be nearly indistinguishable from a real ettin. And I kinda got my colleague, Venpa, to test it for me.

I'm glad Venpa's safe, but I'm a bit worried about all this revenge talk.

What happened?

I wanted to research the ettins south of here, so I built a suit to disguise the wearer as an ettin. Then I kind of made her test it out for me.

So the suit failed? Is that the problem?

It didn't exactly fail. The ettins didn't attack her, they just kind of...took her. I'm not sure what happened after that, but she's not happy about it.
