Maneuver the ancient karka back toward its nesting grounds is a level 80 event that takes place across Southsun Cove.

Objectives[edit]

  • Bring the tree down on the ancient karka.

  • Defeat all reinforcements called in by the ancient karka.

  • Uncover steam vents and use them to launch nest debris at the ancient karka.
  • Ancient Karka Perseverance

  • Trigger a rockslide on the ancient karka.

  • Defeat all reinforcements called in by the ancient karka.

  • Explode the blocked gas vents to drive the ancient karka towards its nest.

Cannons shoot at the Ancient Karka, which then jumps over the mountain to Driftglass Springs.
Inspector Ellen Kiel: It's moving out of range! Get that thing back to where we can shoot it!
During event
Inspector Ellen Kiel: We're making progress. Don't let up!
During Trapped Explosive Gas stage
Inspector Ellen Kiel: Don't let up, and keep it in our line of fire. The more we hit it, the better. (at 4/12 gas vents)
Inspector Ellen Kiel: That's it! Keep driving it back. (at 6/12 gas vents)
Inspector Ellen Kiel: Push the karka back towards its nest. The siege weapons will finish it off. (at 8/12 gas vents)
