Rubi Bayer: Hi guys! Welcome back to a Wintersday episode of Guild Chat. This is Nellie. Good Lord!

Nellie Hughes: No, it's actually Rubi!

Rubi: It's just going to be back and forth the whole time. We're starting to get like a little bit of the holiday fun senioritis, I guess? So we are going to do a Wintersday Guild Chat today. I'm not sure. I just asked Mark like right before we went live: how long is it going to snow? So... We'll have some snow for a little bit. I'm your host Rubi. I want to tell Bog Otter and AuroraPeachy and MMOINKS thanks for the pre-show. Thank you guys all for spending some time with us and letting us host your live stream. I also want to thank our Guild Wars 2 community for the cupcakes we got yesterday.

Nellie: They were so good.

Rubi: They were amazing. There was a really big collection. There was a lot going on to get those here and they arrived yesterday and it absolutely made our day so thank you all. What we're going to talk about today: we have an update coming next Tuesday and it's got a lot going on. We're going to be making some adjustments to fractal rewards. I know a lot of you were wondering about that, so that's coming on next Tuesday. Stronghold's coming back! We finally knocked out that exploit that we were telling you guys about. There are some bug fixes coming and a few other things. The big thing is Wintersday, so we're going to focus on that today and I brought in Nellie Hughes to come and talk to us about that and-

Nellie: Hello!

Rubi: Show off our Wintersday traditions for those of you who are new to Guild Wars 2. And we have some new things to show off!

Nellie: Yep.

Rubi: So it's a whole bunch so why don't we go ahead and get started.

Nellie: Alright!

Rubi: Where is Divinity's Reach? Where is- We're playing Jeopardy now. Where is Wintersday this year?

Nellie & Rubi: What is Divinity's Reach?

Nellie: So Wintersday actually takes place in the Crown Pavilion. You know, most of the activities are there. You will find orphans scattered around Tyria. Some of them are cleverly hiding from you, so good luck finding all of them.

Rubi: The thing I did want to mention, we talked about this yesterday while we were running through this, the thing that I really loved was if you talk to the NPC when you come into Divinity's Reach, if you're coming in for the first time, there's a guide NPC right at the entrance to Divinity's Reach and you can talk to him and ask why, you know, well how come just Divinity's Reach? I mean it was all over the place last year. What's going on? And I don't know if you did that dialogue or if you've seen the dialogue?

Nellie: I have seen the dialogue. No, I did not do it. It's pretty ingenious.

Rubi: He's just like, well-

Nellie: Consumerism!

Rubi: The human race funds Winter- Uh, I mean they support Wintersday a lot more. Plus Lion's Arch has a tendency to sink so we're just going to do it here in Divinity's Reach, which I got, again, over in the Crown Pavilion.

Nellie: Sweet!

Rubi: So what have we got- Let's see. Oh, you know what? If you are a play for free player we want you to come celebrate, too. So you guys are welcome. You need to be level 10 to come into Divinity's Reach if you're play for free. It takes no time at all.

Nellie: Hang out in front of Queensdale and just kill stuff and you'll get there quick enough.

Rubi: Yep. Just murder things for awhile between now and Tuesday.

Nellie: Yep. just murder things for a while. Do events, too, but murder things. Bambi. Bambi and her family.

Rubi: Get to level 10 between now and Tuesday and come join the Wintersday festivities. Alright, so... We are in the Crown Pavilion?

Nellie: We are in the Crown Pavilion. And first thing we're going to do is we're going to show some of the sweet presents? We're doing the presents, right?

Rubi: Yeah! You get just like free presents everyday if you run around.

Nellie: Well you do! All of- You'll see the Wintersday trees around. You'll be able to get a present out of each one of them on a daily basis.

Rubi: Love it.

Nellie: Yep. And this year, you're using all of those socks, hats and sweaters that you collected last year and you are wrapping them up for some orphans who could use-

Rubi: Oh! I don't have any socks! Oh, no! Huh, let's see what I can do.

Nellie: But I can buy a Princess Wand Skin and then go back and wrap that, too.

Rubi: Yeah, so if you were around last year you might still have a Princess Wand Skin lying around.

Nellie: All the weapon skins from last year can be wrapped and given to our orphans.

Rubi: So can we talk to- Is there an orphan nearby that we can talk to?

Nellie: I think so. I think I saw one over here.

Rubi: Hear what he or she has to say?

Nellie: If I remember correctly... Here we go.

Rubi: You know what? We're going to find out now it like got cold and they all went inside.

Nellie: Yeah, right? These are all hiding.

Rubi: Oh, there's one.

Nellie: Yep. Aww.

Rubi: Aww! Bless her heart!

Nellie: Yep. She's sad, but now you gave her stuff so she'll give you-

Rubi: And she gives you karma!

Nellie: Wintersday is our karma holiday, so you will notice that all of our activities kind of revolve around karma. You will get a lot. Trust me. I have accumulated a lot.

Rubi: So much karma. I saw-

Nellie: I'm looking for the snowball fights! We're gonna go-

Rubi: Yeah! There is a thing of snow up here by the candy canes, I believe?

Nellie: Up here? Ooh, yes.

Rubi: Because I just saw like a snow explosion off in the distance.

Nellie: Alright.

Rubi: And if you guys have been around for, well, at least last Wintersday you're familiar with some of the traditions. If you're a new player who showed up in the last year-

Nellie: Oh! I got him! Pssh! So, yes.

Rubi: So... that's actually not getting him, that's him knocking you down. So you guys can see-

Nellie: I know, I know. I never said I was good at this.

i'm the worst oh see i got him oh nice
i'm not like that kids knows
players can also do this too so if you
want to get in on the action
uh all right all right i've i've abused
enough children for today what else what
else can we do uh where's some magic
snow where we can build a snowman oh let
me find something
because you get there's an achievement
for building snowmen there are
yes so scattered around you'll find
magic snow
don't eat it if it's yellow
none of our magic snow is yellow though
here we go
and no you cannot make yellow snow no
you cannot
nope all right so you build snowman um
it gives you works towards your daily
achievements uh just like last year
we've got
you know the winter's day achievements
um um how about hohotron oh he looks
i couldn't help myself that's where i
was going i love him
he's my favorite he is he's the best
please give him a copper first because
his snark makes me happy
have a copper that was literally
literally the least you could do geez
nelly it sounds like
what i would say all right we're going
to have to do this a couple times
your generosity will purchase food
medical care all right so
what nellie's doing you can keep
donating gold to him
and silver and copper there's also an
achievement for each
level of donation yep and once he has
enough gold this okay yeah you can see
his funds donated bar
filling up once he has enough gold now
in theory many people will be doing this
yeah you are not the only one sitting
here and spamming the fbi all of your
gold
yeah once players donate enough gold it
will kick off the dolyak escort
gully i guess i was logged in and could
come could come
i know i'm going broke here better give
me some good questions i am equipped
with all basic social interactions i
love home i know
he's just he's just in there doing
whatever's needed
almost yay all right here we go so this
yeah feeding him gold is literally an
event
so you get participation rewards for
that and then you follow him you gotta
make sure the doliak makes it
he's delivering presents
interaction with caravan attempting
distraction
oh get the script so you gotta help
fight off some script
oh wait time to officially rename this
script i
like that i i agree with that
this event makes me ridiculously happy
because you're just booting these script
they're trying to
steal your gifts yeah
oh oh he also every once in a while he
will drop a gift
i don't know where that came from i did
not see it again don't ask back do not
ask
yeah i don't want one of those you'd
rather just
yep all right so every time you
boot one of the script away his health
goes down a little bit

along the way

winter's day you can participate in all

those are all of our open world things
but it's not even
close to did we get all of the open
world stuff yep i think we did all right
why don't we check out the infinerarium
all right but first you have to say it
before you can go there you're going to
make me do this i've been butchering it
all week
infinerarium yay i actually did say it

i got this while she's going there i
will tell just a tiny just a tiny bit
i got this great email from nelly i
think it was yesterday
and she was just confirming here are the
events that we're going to look at on
the show today
and it was like infinite or whatever
yeah was the email topic that was my
actual yes that's how i pronounce it
again i want to rename it
uh so this one is the toy airship
uh this is a five-man raid usually or
five-man
activity uh there's a couple different
things that you do in here
you paint dolls you collect toys
you kill toys uh it seems a little
counter productive but i get it
uh evil toys they're evil broken toes
evil broken toys
you stop these evil script from taking
stuff
there's a lot of different stuff in here
yes this is this is a
a long event so uh it's got some really
sweet words at the event
at the end um and you'll want to play
this one
all right so we have you can collect the
toys you paint the dolls
the painting dolls is fun it's the one
that i'm really bad at
but you get literally a paint gun and
you have all of these unpainted princess
dolls
that's pretty fun run around the
infinitium and try to hit them with the
paint gun
and then they're a little more docile
after they're painted
of course my main character is not a
revenant probably so
oh it's taking all my health taking a
revenant into the infinerarium for the
very first time i am
i am and i don't know how to stop that
spinning stuff but
i hear hammers thanks jealous
all right so you have all of those
things that you can do in the
infinerarium
there's also more on this same map that
we will take a look at
in just a little bit alrighty i'm going
to get out of here
yeah flee we won't spoil you too much
but
that is where the infinerarium is and
how you get in there
you can hop to character select to save
time if you want does that work
yeah oh yeah

winter's day now
and now you're back in dr yep um you
want to look at bell choir next because
you're pretty good at that
you did well yesterday i did well that
was the only time i'll ever do well
but now that it actually counts i will i
will butcher it all right well
nellie's loading in and oh good lord

well nellie's loading in and getting
over to the bell choir thing those of
you who are new i'll run you through it
a little bit
it's a lot like we were kind of
comparing it to guitar hero almost
but with only choir bells and you stand
on a stage and we give you some songs to
play
and you have to match up your choir bell
notes with the notes coming down the
line
all right are we ready i'm ready to
embarrass myself in front of all of you
now you're gonna do well we haven't even
gone to sad town yet
i know wait till we go to sad town sad
town will definitely be gone too
you have to get that chest to strike me
up the wall okay sorry no it's okay
it's a personalized gift it is let's
talk about those in a little bit
we will all right all right so you pick
a stage because there are multiple
stages
and then you decide follow along with me
play what i play and i guess i'll play
the middle part okay
all right and you taught me a trick i
didn't i did top down all the way back
and that is the secret way to figure it
out
not secret it's the way that i was
taught to by someone who actually knows
how to
get through the songs yes we can give
you total credit for this
all right it's gonna be so painful no
you're gonna do good kill your
specializations thing oh yeah
jeez i know we do like to tell you how
to do things

all right so if you missed the note you
lose health yep if you hit the note you
gain health
and once you are totally out of health
you're done if you make it all the way
through the song
you win yep the note needs to line up
right when it reaches that blue circle
you're next to
as you can see i'm not doing it very
well
oh that's where you go it's where the

don't have to obviously
i'm going to avoid that but yes that is
the gist
of winter's day all right let's see what
else do we have we have the
snow snowball fight or sad town
let's do snowball fight first all right
i can embarrass myself after
this all right so
snowball fight is the pvp section of the
winter's day fun
you go in and every different class has
special skills
uh nelly switched her character to a
revenant so we could take a peek
at the revenant skills for snowball
fight for those of you who aren't
aren't new to winter's day do you think
this person will go in with us he's too
fun
he's defined you should totally come in
and play with play snowball fight with
nelly
all right all right i'll hang out here
for a minute or two get rid of the
specializations thing again
and say hey hey hey hey you have
specialization i just want to let you
know okay now you got something to look
at
all right so what is the goal of this
all right so this the whole goal of this
activity is to be able to get
the gifts in the middle and get them
back to your stash okay so you're
basically beating each other up for
gifts
which i'm kind of okay with so there's a
black friday joke in there somewhere yes
absolutely absolutely you know i think
i'm gonna be let's see we got different
classes we can do i'll be a supporter
what am i doing make nice quarter okay
okay i have one what are your skills
uh because i know people want to see
them let's see
yes that was faceplate see we've got a
throw snowball healing breeze icy ground
ice wall snow roll and the revenant has
a new one this year
called vengeful snowballs
invoke snowballs to circle around oh
it's like the hammers
yes it is amazing so
let's see if we can uh and stefan's on
his way in yeah he's not over well he
should be here i think he's here
i'm going to try to roll over him oh no
he's got the gift
get him ah too far away hey fun come
here we want to show you something just
just really forget you guys
i know i got my presents i'm out of here

all right so that is the whole goal
uh he's coming for you man

yeah so what if you kill him uh yes i
can pick up the oh well that didn't do
much
yeah but it looked neat it did look and

does a lot just now let me show you my
wall type of character i usually play
oh i'm doing it i'm just gonna roll over
again i can't help it it's so much fun

winter wonderland jumping puzzle this is
which some people in this room have
never i played it i've never completed
it either haven't you
nope all right we both need to do that

it doesn't it so this is the winter's
day train to set
it really is beautiful the giant looming
snowman frightened me a tad
but oh cool though they're holding like
candies though so that makes them
non-threatening they're a thousand feet
tall
i'm okay with that though it's like a
stay puft marshmallow man
and he's not scary at all he was super
super scary
okay all right i'm doing this
ready ah all right oh i got two
oh i got oh you take cold damage
you do the snowflakes disappear there's
evil wind
that will like blow you right off of
there oh yeah oh yeah there are many of
obstacles in your way
and i can yep see there oh no you're
doing it
all right one more time and then there's
like a fire here so you get by the fire
you lose some of your
lose your pain
and this is the easy part so there's
like three stages to this jumping puzzle
it's a very good challenge
uh for those who uh all right if you get
to the end though
there's goodies oh yeah oh yeah yeah
yeah if you
you should try to be all of these
activities multiple times and we can go
into that later
yes we should we should talk about that
later
totally worth it all right so
let's do talk for a second about
winter's day gifts because they are a
little different this year
and so we have two new gifts this year
we've got the
winter's day tradable gift and the
personalized gift uh
they give out much of the same stuff as
last year but we also have a new
script mini which i probably told before
i should have talked about but no no no
no oh yeah yeah so
you know we've got some we got a new
holiday script mini um
we've got some other stuff we've got new
booze we've got different kind of
candies in there now we've got some
new recipes for food and
let's take a look at the scrutiny oh yes
it's here actually i'm gonna get to a
better spot where i'm like okay um
i have no idea how i didn't notice this
before i mentioned this to you yesterday
to get to the jumping puzzle
entrance you have to do a tiny jumping
puzzle
all right so look at this little guy we
start off can we just do the mini is
there any way we can just get the
no no it's it's with you you look lovely
by the way oh thank you
i'm wearing our explorer outfit winter
explorer
all right so that's the first mini okay
you can pretty cool
he's pretty cool i mean you know he's
carrying a package
but you may you know you can work up get
a better one three packages so then the
best one
oh my god super super weighed down by
packages
but yeah he seems happy about it he is
like wagon
i would be if they were for me i'd be
happy you will yes
i quite enjoy gifts all right so how do
you get this guy
so by opening presents that's there in
the presents this year yep
so uh you trading post two i think i
think okay
all right you know what we'll call this
a non-spoiler
we don't want to spoil you yes that's
exactly
um so some yeah like you know we've got
a couple new um
achievements this year that go along
with the booze and the candy so
look for candy canes and eat as many as
you can all right so in real life too
yes all right so here's my question
last year the one of the big winter's
day gifts for finishing
all of the achievements and doing all
this stuff i got was it like tix's
super gift yes and inside was you had
your choice of things and i want to open
mine and choose the 100 winter's day
gifts
wow do that and gifts are going to come
pouring out but the gifts are different
this year what happened yes
if i had gifts from last year when you
use your old gifts they will convert
into new gifts
okay so those hundred gifts will give
you some
brand new sweet gifts so if you already
have gifts you're not missing out yep
you won't miss anything
all right uh let's see what else do we
have we have
the we did snowball fight we did the
jumping puzzle we did the bell choir
toy apocalypse uh you know what let's
can we take a peek up
at tix's airship real quick because you
can see it from dfinity's reach
oh yeah sorry
come back out not enough load screens in
my life
oh i'm not going through there he is
that is the airship speaking of
terrifying it's a gigantic
golem yes hovering over divinity's reach
it is okay
so make sure you take a peek at that
because it is pretty cool
all right and now we can go back into
toypocalypse which is also inside the
airship
it is uh this one you're
this is my favorite you're protecting
your doliaks
that have gifts and you do that
by beating up toys hey there's the
airship again
we don't need instructions all right we
have
toy smashers yes so we've given you a
bunch of different weapons
same as last year's uh let's see what am
i gonna do
i will use a candy cane on them all
right hope did that work no
you will use nothing this is the
equivalent of a hammer this is what's
happening here
you have your skills you gotta wait all
right
all right so off to the right you see
your
three dollar i'm sorry your five dollar
health bars
a lot of dollars they're hanging out in
the middle now you got a lot of presents
and the haywire toys want to come and
frankly murder them yeah pretty much
kind of sucks but you know
catastrophic failure production levels
critical these are some toys i don't
want in my life
the toys are messed up and they are
coming for you
all right look out for the red i gotta
run around
and see yeah like hordes of them will
start coming out from the edges of the
of the ship oh there they are now you
come in and you will go in with
five players total so you're not just
soloing this
but see you're smashing them oh
jeez nelly i don't like plush griffin
i don't like that one that's a problem
but
as you see like you know now they're
beating up the doliak so i gotta kind of
manage my resources yeah titan's not in
such good shape
no also
i won't make you stop defending titan
well it's kind of a lost cause now
but there are bits of it's like bits of
hay
you can go out there yep oh oh good lord
that yeah
okay so you can go out there and smash
some of these pieces
or to get um i don't know like beautiful
tree or something
these things all right and now there are
scraps with which
you can build defenses you pick them up
you run them back to the center
and you start building things to help
save the doliaks am i running in the
totally the wrong way
that's all right you were kind of you
were there you were kind of close
all right so what can you do with this
i'm going to put it right here
build a catapult or a tribute yep now we
have a turbo
it's nice okay get more scraps and bring
it over and upgrade them until they're
amazing you can build like ice walls
around your dollyarts with snowballs
so it's not just hey beat up toys
there's also like you said manage your
resources
some players could be running scraps and
snowballs
i love that there's like it's like dirty
snow there's like sticks and leaves and
stuff sticking out of it
all right so now you have a snow wall
which you can upgrade
so you survive several waves of these
guys
malfunctioning toys remaining you just
need to get that all the way down you
have
one dole yuck left i would build the
biggest wall on the planet around
her these poor dogs yeah
ooh that didn't work all right so this
is absolutely
one of my favorite winter's day
activities yeah
this is one of the many winners day
traditions we've brought back
are we good we are good i think we
should go check out get out of there
before cold just completely dies yeah
because it's just making me see yeah me
too poor dog
all right so we are bringing back one
more tradition
and that is the orphan's letter from
orphan lane in your mail
which is adorably spelled yes um
so that one's a little more complicated
you've got to go and we don't have to
i'm not going to make you like run
through the whole okay
but yes go find seymour around uh
tyria and feed him yes and then you will
get the collection of stuff
yep um i actually just got my my
winter's day known my homeland
yes cool it was it took me all year i'm
very happy
all right so the the gist of this is
that you will have
as a player you'll have a letter in your
mailbox from orphan lane who says
please help us is it the gronk the gronk
it is the stall which is kind of like a
grinch but
worse because it's a crawl yep and he is
screwing up their winter's day and
orphan lane needs you to come help her
so she will kind of get you started on
what to do there's a roving npc
yep that you will help out we need once
you get your the collection you have to
go collect your ornaments and then once
you get all those ornaments you get this
sweet
winter's day tree note for your home
instance so you can go get presents
every day
all year round every day can be winter's
day okay
so you're looking sort of fabulous which
i want to talk about um i know
those of you who have been around for a
lot of winter's days are like okay yeah
the traditions are great i love
traditions
i need new stuff this is very important
in my life so
let's talk about how fabulous you look
and then
yes and then we will use that as a
little gateway to all of the new things
oh nice all right well you know i've uh
this is back in the store we've got this
arctic explorer
arctic explorer we've got um the lights
now blink
i i heard they didn't blink okay so
right now they don't blink right now i
don't like right now
with a live client we are going to if
you have the wreath
back piece which is available now you
will notice there are some lights we
will turn them on for winter's day on
tuesday
and they will start blinking and look
awesome i'm going to get out of a snowy
area
so we can get do you want to talk about
i
do oh all right i will i will let you do
it because i know no way you have to do
it yeah so you can
nelly mentioned this is a karma-based
holiday and
you can go to this vendor oh look at
that and go to this vendor
and buy for karma and a little bit of i
think it's like three gold three gold
and a bunch of
bunch of karma yep you can buy a
blueprint for winter's day presents
that's p r e s
e c spelling is hard it is
yeah no i'm i'm very aware i actually
spelled a bunch of the files
anyway so sweet so now they're like yeah
three different spellings when it comes
to this awesome
all right so winter's day presence is a
thing that you build in game it's kind
of like if you
worked on night fury around halloween
it's a lot like that
yeah right go for it well this time in
order to get uh
some of the pieces you know you you
actually have to
beat the activities so every third time
that you beat an activity you will get a
piece of this collection
um there'll be some other things you
have to do with some
you know uh sigils and other stuff that
you have to put in the uh
the mystic forge sorry i just totally
brainstormed right there
um and so yeah so once you know you do
that we
get a shoulder piece that basically just
makes it snow
you look beautiful make it rain
but it makes it makes it rain it's just
colder yes
yep i like the santa hat too yes it's
back in the store yep but so there is
this is like winter's day themed
gameplay
how you get this shoulder piece yes i
kind of love yep
just get really good at those activities
i will never get this because i will
never beat the winter's day jumping
puzzle
you know what you and i are going to
beat that this year
now we should just get together and
power it out during the night never beat
the clock tower
me either i have never beat winter's day
jumping puzzle i'm good i can do that i
can do the one
in divinity's reach with the three
peppermints oh that's that's about my
limit yeah
yeah that's that's a difficulty level
we're gonna do this this year you guys
ask us after winter's day
mm-hmm if we beat it or not so and what
are saying
you're gonna have some time to do this

cool guildhall is looking fabulous it is

so some of the decorations that you can
add
as a scrub as they scribed this year and
they start off at level 75 level 75 you
do not have to be a level 400 scribe
that was my first question yes as
somebody who's scribing for my guild i
was immediately like hold on
stop everything because i am going to be
incredible am i going to have a terrible
terrible week trying yeah um
so yeah so as you see we have these like
snow makers that kind of are there
they make magic snow they do make magic
snow hey guys
snowball fights guild arena yep do it
and so i decided to make our tavern a
little festive
and you know we've got these street
lamps the street lamps street lamps oops
that i'll try the lights wrapped around
them
are gorgeous uh piles of snow just for
aesthetic reasons we got the trees
winter's day trees
are there gifts under them no okay so
you can't put down like 500 winter's day
trees yeah
and run around and like scoop up a
million gifts okay this
what is this is my favorite this is an
enormous block of ice all right
turn on do it oh you turned it back
up what so an ice sculpture
it's the guild chat moose yeah that's
not right it's a reindeer it is a
reindeer
we can tell ourselves though for guild
chat purposes this is a moose
so some of the other stuff that we have
is we have uh wreaths
also with lights wrapped around yes got
our little snow maker the trees
and what else do we have so so we have
the wreath the snowmaker we have the
trees and we have the ice sculpture i
think that's the
piles of snow yes yep and the piles of
snow yep
so your guild hall i just love that
there's snow
everywhere it's cool yeah it looks
amazing i love the interactive reindeer
statue
which every one of you you can even put
it back together which i actually really
oh yeah
you've got a block of ice
and now we're right there and i could
just do this
i could i'm not going to admit how long
i spent
when setting this up how long i probably
pulled it on and off longer than it is
because i had a lot of fun all right so
again this
starts at level 75 describing so
you are not totally locked out and it
does scale up because the really big
stuff
has to be a higher level yeah i totally
agree but i am glad that
again i was going to be incredibly angry
if this was like all scribing 400 and
too bad if you haven't maxed it i just
had to hear that again

and we have a little celebration that
we're doing for winter's day next week
i'm going to let gail talk about
okay great we are doing an in-game event
um
like we did for halloween we're going to
do it on
thursday december 17th from 3 to 5 p.m
pacific time
and we're going to try to bounce between
the north american and european servers
so you can join us
um look for arenanet dabs last time we
had more than 100 in the game
and we're hoping for that kind of number
two to celebrate winter's day with you
um i'd start out in divinity's reach
because that's where all the action is
right yeah right
that's where the good winter's day stuff
is we do all sorts of things there
and as as ruby and nelly were talking
about there's so many activities to do
so you might have to look around for us
but look for that little red dev
hat over the head and um join us um
chat with us visit with us um do badly
at the
uh bell choir uh you know i do okay
okay don't you oh good for you maybe you
can give me some lessons
yeah and then i'm like i'm like how do
people do this you're next to the guy
and he's just doing it so perfectly and
uh wow yeah i hate that guy yeah
and then on december 18th are european
teams going to try to bounce into the
game
so look for them during european hours
um office hours during the 18th which is
friday
and um they'll be on the european and
north american servers as well
uh uk time because they're located in
brighton england
and um join us we'll have fun
and we'd love to party with you yeah we
we really enjoy that it's a good time to
uh big turnout uh lots of devs
we'll have fun and then something like
this on halloween and it was
we had so much fun just coming in and
talking to you guys on
all of the worlds yeah it was great i
don't know about you ruby but i feel
this overwhelming
compunction to turn people into bats and
uh maybe not appropriate for winter's
day but it could be fun
i had way too much fun with that so i
apologize to the one guy who was like
please stop i'm crafting
yeah i'm very very sorry the rest of us
had a really good time
stop bouncing me he said yeah we could
do something winter's day like
yeah we'll figure it out yeah um and
then
i also wanted to mention that next when
next thursday wednesday
wednesday yeah wednesday at
noon yes someday december 16th wednesday
definitely wednesday yeah
at noon we're going to have community
showcase live and we hope that you can
join us then
um it's going to be a surprise winter's
day theme
and we have all sorts of fun things we
have videos we have sculptures we have
christmas decorations we have
screenshots and
and lots and lots of drawings and
beautiful arts so join us at noon lizzie
and myself at noon on wednesday the 16th
and um we're going to be looking for art
from
this year's festival to possibly feature
in next year's community showcase live
because
since it starts on tuesday i think the
delta is too short but we will
definitely
um a lot of the art that we're featuring
this year came from last year and it's
marvelous
it's there's a lot of really pretty
stuff i'm looking forward to this
episode so
csl is next wednesday this is the last
guild chat of 2015. so i will be back

next year wow that feels weird to say
already i'm
having a hard time even processing that
it's december i know
yeah i know it's coming up so fast um if

maybe you're a guild or a group or a
family or whatever
and you'd like um to have the dev stop
by
we'll try to do that if it happens on
that thursday the 17th between three and
five
so what i want you to do is go to the
community corner
section of the forum and look for
in-game events
that's a sub forum and post your
information what world are you going to
be on what time are you going to be on
what are you going to be doing
and we'll try to stop by as many of
those as we can because i think that'll
be really fun too
and we'll also be sharing some of those
events with the community at large
through like our social media channels
and
on the forums just to help other players
know hey i'm having this event
and i want to invite the entire
community yeah
