The Elemental Source is the corrupted source binding together a Greater Ice Elemental creating a powerful blizzard in the Snowblind Fractal that causes  Hypothermia and must be defeated in order to continue on.

Combat abilities

Behavior

• At 75%/50%/25% the Elemental Source will create a blizzard that extinguishes all the bonfires and reduces visibility until a bonfire has been lit.

Skills

• Ice bolt - small icicle projectile that either circles the arena or centers from the boss. Does minimal damage and applies one stack of Hypothermia. Can be reflected.
• A slow moving projectile that does a small AoE knockback where it hits the ground.
• An ability with a similar visual appearance to the Elementalist's Swirling Winds. This ability is active for a few seconds before it knocks back anyone still inside its animation.

Notes

• Defeating the Elemental Source is required for crafting three legendary precursors, namely Meteorlogicus and Frostfang directly and Incinerator by interacting with the Frozen Core that appears after the Elemental Source has been destroyed.
• Elemental Source has a 280 range diameter hitbox, which is considered large.
