Ignaxious: A shadow with your thorns now protruding from its back, I'm told.

Ignaxious: And now you return home. Have you come to seek an audience with your king?

Ignaxious: To beg your king's forgiveness? To grovel at his talons? I fear he may not react well to your escapades.

Peitha: You are right to fear, Ignaxious. Ramses, Arina. Spread out. Wayfinder, at your leisure.

Ignaxious: So it's true. Eparch has been excitable of late. I hoped it was only hunger. But perhaps your corpse will satiate him.

Peitha: Poor Ignaxious. Were you able to think for yourself, I'd ask you to join our cause. But I've no need of a rabid lapdog.

Peitha: You betray our people. Heitor betrays our people. Eparch consumes our people.

Ignaxious: (snarls)

At 75%

Peitha: Has it all been worth it, bowing and scraping to Heitor to impress a bloodthirsty tyrant?

Ignaxious: When I bring him your blood on which to gorge, then yes, I expect it will be.

Ramses: Keep Eparch's claw-polishers away from me. ^{[verification requested]}

At 25%

Ignaxious: How? Such power... I am Eparch's favored—

Peitha: Your master distorts your vision. You are at best a guard dog, set to watch a treacherous doorman. And I am the true king.

Ignaxious begins channeling Shock Wave

Peitha: Ah. Familiar tricks. Wayfinder, get behind something!

Peitha: Take cover.

Peitha: Find safety, Wayfinder.

Event success

Peitha: A shame. Ignaxious's ambitions always exceeded his strength. Serving two masters... Perhaps we've done him a service.

Ramses: Peitha. With this victory, we've gained access to the great barrier.

Ramses: This goes well beyond tampering with beacons. Heitor used a powerful ritual, perhaps with Eparch's assistance.

Peitha: This is outside of my knowledge. Arina, would your researchers have insight here?

Arina: Perhaps. If Ramses and I put our horns together, I'm sure we'll figure something out. Eventually.

Peitha: Thank you. Please work quickly—our people lie beyond that gate. And Eparch sees them not as citizens but as sustenance.

Peitha: Every Kryptis inside adds to Eparch's power. Every one outside his grasp weakens him. And if they join us...

Peitha: We've drawn Eparch's attention. We must retreat for now and consider our options based on what we've learned.

Peitha: We are a step closer to his fall, and the freedom of Nayos. Wayfinder, I will contact you when the barrier is no more.

Ignaxious: Your time is up, Highness. My forces come, and with them the end of your little uprising. Eparch will be pleased.

Peitha: We must not be overrun. Arina, your portal. Quickly!
