Dialogue[edit]
- Hello, there. Are you here to pay your respects, too?
- I just maintain the grounds here. That said, I can tell you about the asura that we've buried here in the past fifty years or so: Ulvoxx, Trijja and Venikk.
- Ulvoxx.
- Ulvoxx had a special fascination with these lands. He left Rata Sum and moved out here to catalogue and study every living thing in this area.
- No. He was just curious. He was a rare one. Friendly, listened a lot more then talked. Generous soul, too. In fact, we wouldn't have this site if it wasn't for him.
- He made a hefty sum from some big theory he had. Used the funds to preserve this site from being claimed by the swamp.
- And Trijja?
- How about Venikk?
- Strange place for a graveyard.
- Thanks. That's enough history for now.
How so?
Was he working on some experiments out here?
Tell me about - Trijja's story?
- That's a heart-breaker. No one knows for certain what happened to her. She was working on some experimental gate technology, and then...zap!
- Vanished without a trace. Some believe she died, others think she went to another world. Her krewe put up that marker there.
- Tell me about Ulvoxx.
- Care to talk about Venikk now?
- Strange place for a graveyard.
- Thanks.
What happened to her?
What's - Venikk?
- Ah, good old Venikk! He was a proud and ambitious alchemist, and had a long life full of successful projects. Until...
- He chased away every apprentice he had, calling them ignorant fools. He thought he could do it all. Then came that fatal mistake in the lab. I believe if he had someone there, he'd still be alive.
- What do you know of Ulvoxx?
- Tell me about Venikk.
- Strange place for a graveyard.
- Interesting. Thanks.
Until what? What happened?
How about - I'll be going now.
I am. Do you know about the memorials here?
- I reckon it made sense at one point when the first bodies were first put in the ground here. My guess is, they started buring [sic] the dead here two hundred years back.
- Can you tell me about the memorials here?
- Good-bye.
Huh? This is an odd place for a graveyard.
- Just passing through.
