User talk:Saga San
Nice page, however...[edit]
Your image naming needs a bit of work :) Every file you upload for use in your space (i.e. your user page and any sub-pages thereof) must be prefixed with User:Saga San. Your character pic was almost right, [[:File:User Saga San.png]] but technically it should be File:User Saga San Saga San.png if you see what I mean. Your other pic, [[:File:Snottebelminion.jpg]] needs to be moved to File:User Saga San Snottebelminion.jpg. Apart from that, welcome! 192.168.104.83 12:12, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply, i am indeed new to file name formatting. Can you give me advise on how to change the filenames to the correct format? Saga [TSD] 12:35, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- I did it for you (I'm back home now so could log on and do stuff!) Most pages have a tab at the top that says "Move" - if you click it, the options are pretty straightforward. I moved both images and changed your page so that the new image locations are there. I tagged the originals for deletion, but I messed that up because I'm not a wiki genius either :D Oh, "The Sleeping Dragons" has a red link because the page doesn't exist and it never will - I can't think how to fiddle that to make it work, so just leave it for now. — snograt 13:58, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
- Tanks a lot! The Sneezing Dragons is the name of my guild, might make a sub-page for it when I get the hang of it :) Thanks again for your help! Saga [TSD] 14:42, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
Hey! You should probably find a way to list your weapons differently on your user page. Notice that on Gallery of greatswords and Gallery of foci your user-images are listed due to these images being tagged from your user-page. Thanks! Plegnic (talk) 15:40, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment, how odd! It was fine before this gallery thingie was implementend. So how should I use the pictures from greatswords and foci without them showing up on the gallery? Saga [TSD] (talk) 22:57, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
- Its the usage of mainspace templates in your userspace. I'll fix some userspace versions up for you. -Chieftain Alex 23:24, 4 August 2013 (UTC)
- {{User weapon infobox}} / {{User NPC infobox}} - they look the same, but don't have the magic categories + semantic properties that the regular boxes do. -Chieftain Alex 00:09, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
