I'd prefer creatures over fauna and foes. Should possible weather effects (I doubt we'll have it snow in Kryta with the global warming and all) listed on location articles? Mediggo 12:19, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the input :). Creatures would admittedly be shorter and less mess prone; it just didn't feel right at the time to label things like pirates and other humanoid/sentient enemies 'creatures' and animals and beasts and neutral creeps 'foes'. Still, I could be swayed ;). And yeah, I just remembered environmental changes like weather and the day/night cycle--I'll gladly add those in or see them added in to the template as possible; we just haven't had enough information on that front to really see where the bits and pieces need to fall. I'll be awol til next week, but will be back to work it up afterwards. Redshift 12:33, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- NPCs? Friendly/Hostile/Neutral? --Xu Davella 12:41, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- An entire NPC list for a whole area would be really quite expansive. My current intent in the whole 'fauna/foe' thing is a more general compilation of the types found in the area. I believe that NPCs, individual creatures, and all of the more specific information is more manageable in the smaller-in-scope location pages. :) Redshift 12:58, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- For a more concrete example of my crazytalk, compare this location prototype to the area prototype. :) I really do need to head out the door, now, though--thanks for all the feedback. Redshift 13:02, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
