Admins vs Non admins

Ibogas: plants or ibogas?

Hey, I noticed that over on pet, you've moved ibogas from the iboga family to the plant family. What was your source for this? Though in general they are indeed plants, it may be the case that, as ranger pets, they're mechanically considered "ibogas" rather than "plants"; similarly to how bristlebacks are members of the "bristleback" family despite being saurians. --Idris (talk) 23:22, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

Perhaps. In Nightfall, ibogas and jacarandas were both in the plant category of Sunspear bounties, so that was my precedent for editing the grouping. Lysander (talk) 23:40, 9 August 2017 (UTC)

Ah, yeah, I definitely understand your logic, but as Guild Wars 2 is a different game with different mechanics, I don't think we can make assumptions like that. Until we have confirmation, I'm going to move all 4 PoF pets to the "unknown" family. --Idris (talk) 23:55, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
