Icons in descriptions[edit]

We shouldn't place icons in descriptions since they aren't there in-game and make the descriptions more cluttered. --JonTheMon 14:15, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

I think that visual representations are a nice way to help newer players to understand the game better. Not everyone that in on this wiki is familiar with GW2 and all of it's features. The thing is that trait descriptions get used elsewhere, like List of elementalist traits. A lot of icons there makes that table less useful. --JonTheMon 14:29, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

I agree with Jon in this matter. The descriptions should remain exactly as they are seen in the game, sans icons. And it does make the tables look cluttered. And there is ample opportunity to see/learn/familiarize oneself with those icons in other locations on pages. Aqua (T|C) 14:37, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
