I think one of the human new area lines is, "I like new places!" I'll try to pay attention to others. - LordEhzed 23:45, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
Great! Once this list grows complete enough I'll put it on the main namespace. Thanks all :) Glastium talk 03:13, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Gender[edit]

Hello, I started a similar project very recently, but I'll be adding to this page now. Either there's a whole bunch of quotes for finding a new area and getting an achievement, or some things are separated by gender. I haven't heard any of yours listed on my female characters, but I've heard the ones on my list several times. The conditions and boons seem to be shared. Not sure about low health and leveling yet. There indeed seem to be gender variants, at least I don't think males would use the same phrases my female Sylvari uses :) I've a added a bunch of lines and marked gender where it seemed appropriate. --Sialor 23:07, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Added a few more gender flags, mostly male norn. I'm wondering whether we really need quotes around every single line - they're all character quotes, so it seems highly unnecessary. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 23:29, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Does gender make a difference here? Honestly I never played a female character, but at least I've heard both male and female asura saying "I'm Death incarante". As to the quotes, they're used to differentiate two or more individual lines. e.g. one of the lines when human obtains an achievement is "I achieve things. I'm an achiever.", which contains two sentences. If without quotes, it could be misunderstood as two individual possible lines to be played, one is "I achieve things.", the other is "I'm an achiever." Of course there could be better solution to this, so feel free to implement it if you guys have better ideas. Glastium talk 23:44, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
One line per... well, line, like you were already doing, solves the problem of no quotes. And yes, a lot of lines are shared between genders, but there are a significant number of them (like "I achieve things, I'm an achiever.") are only used by one gender (my wife's male human says it all the time, but I've never heard it on either of my female humans). —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:52, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
Also, some lines are tied to specific biography choices. My male norn has a line about "I feel Bear's power!" because I chose that spirit in his biography; he's never mentioned the other 3 spirits. I'm pretty sure the new area line mentioning Raven is another like this. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 00:58, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
