Second! Ekko 19:40, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

So no one ever said hi... :( *sighs*...kids these days... Welcome to the GW2W! If you need help with anything, just let me know. And thanks for making all the trait references on the skill pages. :) Aquadrizzt (talk)(contribs) 22:24, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

For the move. Hah, btw I command you to make a cookie. Thanks again. - Lucian Talk. Shadowborn 2:29, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I made the cookie, and then I ate it. ~Ekko (talk) 02:27, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Nom nom nom..? - Lucian Talk. Shadowborn 2:37, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Be Bold?[edit]

I understand that Wikipedia policy isn't in force here, but whatever happened to being bold? If you feel that something ought to be done, do it. If you think it might provoke debate, put your reasons in on the talk page...and do it. If you feel that something shouldn't have been done, revert it, and talk on the page. When an agreement is reached, make the changes.

If you feel that some speculation should be moved off a talk page into the userspace or an archive...move it. There's no point in bickering over whether or not it should be done, because that simply makes the discussion even less about the page.

(Also, if you have a point to make on your own userspace, do it with gratuitous italics!) ~Ekko (talk) 05:25, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Or highlighting... Best course of action: make a page for pure speculation. I did.. - Lucian User Lucian.png 5:29, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I noticed that--it's quite clever. It doesn't help solve general-purpose speculation, though, like the atrocious mess that Talk:Mesmer degraded into, or even the little things like "Stability" being listed on the Boon page for a decent while (even though people had already decided it should be removed on the talk page). ~Ekko (talk) 05:32, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Gotta love that. :P - Lucian User Lucian.png 6:20, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I was pretty bold back in GWW during the early stages of the "suggestions" section. One guy put up on his main user page that he hated my guts, I think it might still be there *goes to check*. Now I usually complain until someone intervenes. I should take back your advice...(Xu Davella 09:55, 5 February 2011 (UTC))

(Reset indent) Be Bold is not as much policy as it is commonly accepted protocol on Wiki. It's most definitely still in effect. :) - Infinite - talk 12:41, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Yup! Though, if some reverts ur change without saying anything --talk about it. - Lucian User Lucian.png 16:46, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Weapon Guides[edit]

What do you think of my formatting here? Or should I make a table like that for each individual weapon (like whats done on the current prof skill lists, except I include concise descriptions and targets and stuff) and then have a smaller table simply listing conditions for each weapon set. Aqua (T|C) 21:16, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

I like it, although melee and ranged attacks should probably be delineated better in the Weapons table - just a little one for an M, R, P, or A. We should also list things like Life Siphon's self-healing or Feast of Corruption's effect removal on the Effects column in Weapon Sets. We could actually replace the normal weapon skills column with this (which may be the intention, come to think of it).
I'm guessing that more detailed textual analysis can be put in the Analysis and Preferences header. Also, do we need an Effects column in Weapons? The descriptions already contain them, and bluelinking conditions and boons should make them standout enough that we don't need to pull them out. ~Ekko (talk) 23:53, 6 March 2011 (UTC) (I'm sorry if this seems ramble-ish)
I was going to try to make one of those tables for the healing/utility/elite skills...and then I saw the wall of wikicode and whimpered a little. ~Ekko (talk) 00:02, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
^.^ Goddamit Infi! Anyway, I like the idea of removing the "Effects" column and either blue linking or bolding the important parts of my concise descriptions. Aqua (T|C) 00:03, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
I wrote up some text to put in the non-weapons table here. I think minion skills (and other bipartite skills) should be set up as an extra-wide row with one skill on top and one on bottom. The same thing with signets - one row for passive, one row for active. ~Ekko (talk) 00:40, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
Wait, do you intend this to be a guide that resides in your userspace or how the table is actually formatted? Aqua (T|C) 00:44, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
One that's actually formatted - I just can't do wikicode to save my life. I figured I could help in some constructive way by helping write the stuff in the tables, even if I can't do the tables themselves. ~Ekko (talk) 01:29, 7 March 2011 (UTC)
You called? :D - Infinite - talk 07:28, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Note to Self[edit]

Next time you create about twenty pages, get the category tags right. ~Ekko (talk) 22:24, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Just leave them for others to fix, that's what I do, and no one has complained yet. EiveTalk 22:36, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
It's almost more that I watch all the pages I create, and I'm getting flooded with watchlist notifications and RC was all bold for me for a while. ~Ekko (talk) 00:31, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Engineer[edit]

Great. Another profession I'm dying to play. Leveling had better be fairly quick, or lower levels had better be fun... ~Ekko (talk) 22:04, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

If I could pick one, I'd go for option #2 User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.jpg A F K When Needed 22:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
I second that. Also, that better go for all professions. :P - Infinite - talk 09:08, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

PvP[edit]

Why did I wait until today--when I don't have much time to play at all--to try sPvP? It's amazing! ~Ekko (talk) 22:56, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
