• Backstory: Sorcha was born in Hoelbrak to a clan that devoutly asked for aid from the Wolf above all other Spirits. The family approached one of the Havrouns, Fastulf Jotharson, and asked him to bless the newborn child with the favor of the Wolf. For reasons he did not fully understand, Fastulf was moved to mark Sorcha with a magical symbol of a wolf’s pawprint—something he hadn’t done for any other blessing. The mark over her heart did not give her any unique power, but as she grew, it gave her faith in the Spirits that would outstrip most other Norn’s. It also gave her hope—hope for a future without the shadow of Jormag in it, hope for a future where the races could live in peace. She became a visionary, working towards a better tomorrow in a way the solitary Norn had never considered, with her symbol giving her unbridled hope that peace could be realized if the races were united.
