"From Blood, courage. From Iron, industry. From Ash, discipline."
There is bitter rivalry amongst the High Legions.
Ever since the previous Khan-Ur was assassinated, no charr has hold significant command over the legions. With the reveal and reclaiming of the artifact of such leadership, the Claw of the Khan-Ur, tensions seem to be on the rise once again. Some say that the Iron Legion Imperator would, if the ghosts of Ascalon were put to rest for good, use the claw to become the new Khan-Ur. Others claim that Imperator Swordshadow's effort to achieve truce with humans was only to ease unification of charr, to more easily place all under her command. But not everyone wants that unity, instead revering and thriving in the internal strife of the four legions. They are all fools. All parts of the war machine are vital, and no charr should shirk from the duty nor respect to the chain of command.
I, for one, care for honor, even if there is little of it to claim in the line of warfare I wage. My determination defines me and my warband, and our quick trust and reliance on each other was notorious in the legion's fahrar. Since then we have succeeded and made the Dark Warband known, though never caught in the action.
Until recently, we were positioned as the personal honor guard of the tribune. Now, I have been promoted to legionnare of my warband, and we have been assigned to assist The Archivists' Sanctum, an interracial guild founded by fellow Ash Legion legionnare, by any means necessary. Our task at hand is of sensitive and unlikely nature, including securing of valuable enemy intelligence... and working with humans. This is all I can share at the moment. Duty calls.
