Read First[edit]

All values are taken from GW2 Efficiency.

Notes
  • GW2 Efficiency does not calculate values for account bound materials, and therefore have a price of 0 factored into their cost. i.e. Fulgurite.
  • Total cost was obtained by adding the "buy" price and "sell" price and taking the average.
  • Average cost per piece was obtained by taking the total cost and dividing by 6.
  • Rabid, Magi, Dire and Shaman all have the lowest cost to craft and have their positions swap around regularly depending on the price of their insignia.
    • i.e. one week it may be Rabid that's the cheapest, then the next week Magi, then Rabid again, then Shaman, etc.
  • Minstrel and Trailblazer are the most expensive to craft.
  • Berserker and Viper should be obvious.

Cost to stat change[edit]

Notes
  • Because Berserker and Viper stats are the most common to swap to, they are the only ones calculated.
  • There is an additional cost of 5 Glob of Ectoplasm.pngGlobs of Ectoplasm per swap.

Cost of crafting the cheapest set to stat change[edit]

The cheapest set to craft at the moment is Rabid

Note: The cost of the 30 Glob of Ectoplasm.pngGlobs of Ectoplasm required has not been added into the cost. Please check the price on the Trading Post and add it to the total to get the approximate cost.

Conclusion[edit]

It is slightly more expensive to craft the cheapest set to stat swap. ~6 Gold coin for Berserker stats, and ~3 Gold coin for Viper stats.

If you want to craft the cheapest to stat swap to Vipers, ask yourself whether or not 150 Fulgurite.pngFulgurite is worth ~3 Gold coin?

All armor, except heavy, are cheaper to obtain through Grandmaster Marks.

If you obtained an ascended item with unwanted stats as a reward (or if your current item is unwanted), then it will always be cheaper to stat swap it.
