Like most charr in the ash legion, he prefers assassination, and stuff that doesn't involve him getting killed and/or exposed during his mission. When a quote from Sayida the Sly reached his ears- "A word in the right ear, or a dagger in the right back, saves time and money." his nickname then became "The knife in a back," due to his tactics and his slightly overused quote from Sayida.
