Purpose[edit]
Purpose of Dialogue Builder is simply to provide an easier, more intuitive approach to writing the dialogue sections for NPCs.
Usage[edit]
Write the content in the desired text boxes, and click on the adjacent drop down box to add a new text option (such as more/back/end).
Once all the text is in place, click the sumbit button.
If you wish to remove a line, click the small cancel button present on the side of each line.
Construction Notice[edit]
So, the was started yesterday (as of writing this) and is finally in a workable state. It is still far from ideal and the following things are planned for it.
- Add all possible dialogue options.
- Add a clearer indentation guide such as the vertical lines present on the wiki.
- Make it not look like crap (ugh, I will love anyone who does this for me).
- Extra note: I am not sure if it would be better for a side-by-side approach, or a one above the other approach. At the moment I am leaning towards vertical to avoid possible issues with heavily nested dialogue but dunno.
- Possibly add a quick section-stub template with a reason as an extra option.
