Do multiple lines affect the table result?

When I made this nav I had everything on it's own line in the edit page to make it easier to read. Does this affect the final outcome of the table at all? If so I can alter the other navs to match this one. J.Tesla (talk) 18:17, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

It actually does, and adds extra spacing between rows in the table and by the parentheses. Code isn't always pretty, sadly. =( - Do_odleplex 18:26, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

I'd avoid using small tags in nav templates. Navs already use 80% font size, and any smaller is mean on the eyes.

Do consider using the "hlist" class of nav which converts bullet lists into horizontal lists.
