comment on infobox[edit]

Looks good. Would we want a heart icon in the corner, to parallel the Renown Heart NPCs?. Also, not a fan of the name, simply because 'heart' by itself is vague. That said, we arn't likely to need info boxes for other types of hearts, so I can accept the current name. Torrenal 17:38, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

I'm either too vague or too obscure, it seems :). The yellow-on-orange that it would bring might be a bit much, but I don't have any strong feelings either way about having a heart in the infobox to match the NPCs. (Mostly, I didn't know how to put a straightforward, unchanging icon in the corner--all the instances I've dealt with have been modified switches. :]) Redshift 18:28, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
There are some advantages to being colorblind... I wouldn't notice or care about the color clash. :P That said, I can see your point. If you can pick a color that you think might work, I can take a stab at adding a non-switched icon. Torrenal 19:25, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm wary of changing the color, actually—keeping it with the same pve color that Events uses helps keep the design space neat (as much I have seemed to have championed the idea that hearts are not events). However, if it wouldn't look terrible at 40x40, what if we used the empty heart instead of the filled one? Redshift 22:38, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Although, if we did have a choice, I would change it to div infobox charr, which is a nice, deep red that really helps to sensibly distinguish it from Events. But I'd have to have some support on that; again, this is more a design space and color purposes decision. Redshift 22:41, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
I don't think that using charr color is a good idea, as it already has its scope of use, and also, that shade of red doesn't make a good combination with yellow. We can find a new color for PvE infoboxes to match yellow hearts, but tbh I don't think we need to have an icon in heart infoboxes at all, as it doesn't add any new information to it. Thanks for the feedback :). I think my only concern is having a good visual shorthand for knowing that the box is a heart and not an event. If the color usage doesn't make sense, then I'll just continue to suggest that we consider the empty heart icon for a trial run with the current color. Redshift 10:39, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Multiple scouts[edit]

There is at least one occasion where there are two scouts for a heart Lasting Journey and Brilliant Dawn for Help quaggans settle into Urgulp. Checked with a few characters and it's so. I have no idea if there are other examples of multiple scouts but... Any suggestions/fix? --Claret (talk) 01:22, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

Ish kindly fixed the scout's page. No for the heart's infobox. Or is it worth it?? --Claret (talk) 02:08, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
And Relyk's addition was, shall we say, opportune. --Claret (talk) 02:29, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
If it comes up more that example, we can always #arraymap the scout parameter. I wouldn't bother with it for now.--Relyk ~ talk < 03:34, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
OK, fair enough. I'll add a note to the heart page regarding extra scout. --Claret (talk) 12:58, 25 June 2013 (UTC)

No one likes you, Map![edit]

So, why is there a map section for this infobox? I (sorta) understand the need to put it in the object infobox but here it's just useless, since the range of the heart is at some parts uneven. Now, I realize it's optional but it shows up anyway, but not with a red link, nope, it shows up as nothing, just a slight expansion and then - nothing. Now, out of all the heart pages I've seen, almost none have maps, so why is it there? --Ventriloquist (talk) 20:35, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
