Talk:Xunlai Jade Sales Associate
There is also a "Xunlai Jade Sales Associate" that does not sell anything (the one I am thinking of is the one northeast of Garden Heights Waypoint and down the stairs near the Jade Bot Terminals). The one that sells Research Kits is called "Xunlai Jade Sales Associate [Research Merchant]". Should this be clarified in the page or this page renamed? - NPCs not offering any service should be split and have different pages from the ones that do offer something. ~Sime 15:09, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
- What's the naming convention then? Since it ends with a square bracket, do we need to escape it somehow so that it doesn't mess things up when we're linking to it in articles? Or do we leave it as is without the bracketed part of the name similar to the repair anvils and create a different page for the NPC and put (NPC) at the end? Not sure what I should do here. (Edited to add that I saw that someone put "(research)" next to the actual name in the Garden Heights page. So we're already seeing some variations.)67.163.87.25 18:50, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
- Usually the vendor (or the most important npc) gets the main page since that's usually what people are most interested in, in this case "Xunlai Jade Sales Associate", and the normal npcs get the (NPC) suffix, so Xunlai Jade Sales Associate (NPC). ~Sime 19:34, 2 March 2022 (UTC)
- Got it, thanks. The NPC page has been created.Kaele Forester (talk) 23:17, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

Can a vendor table row have a proffesion requirement somehow? Also, should the page Crafting research vendor still exist if we have this page?--Linkje (talk) 11:47, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
Feedback 2022/03/02[edit]
the picture of the npc is incorrect. [EDIT] I spent a lot of time (before the location was updated) looking for the npc pictured on the page. MY image here reflects what is actually seen at that location, and i believe should be used instead of the image that is still there presently. I would change it myself but I'm not that good yet, so... File:Xunlai Jade Sales Associate alt.jpg
- The version you've found is simply an alternate model. Sunlion (talk) 00:08, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- There are also multiple npcs and they have different models too. ~Sime 00:09, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
- Sometimes a NPC can have multiple different models and which are chosen randomly. Thanks for uploading an image of another model for this NPC. --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 12:34, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
