reminds me of Iaijutsu where the user would do the same thing, if the canthan content is ever released with katana as a 2h weapon, id love to use that skill XD Getefix 15:54, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

You realize that Iaijustsu merely focusses on the unsheathing/drawing of the katana? - Infinite - talk 16:28, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
nothing said on sheathing, but then again its wikipedia, i never said thats what it was, i just said that it reminds me of it - besides, look at the flying dude Getefix 16:50, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Sheathing...it's in the first paragraph of the article, and in fact this particular martial art is one of my favourites. -- Xu Davella 16:53, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
iaijutsu consists exclusively of the portion of combat where the sword is drawn, and that any further techniques are technically classified as kenjutsu. Getefix 17:27, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
This is also why Iaido is the art of unsheathing a katana, striking once, lethally and immediately re-sheathing. - Infinite - talk 18:55, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
you wouldn't have to re-sheath it, you could just use kenjutsu, i was talking about iaijutsu not iaido, different things. oops, just realised that you guys were kinda agreeing with me XD - i said that it reminded me of iaijutsu, not that it was based around or was exactly it. Why Ground target?[edit]

Ground targeted is clunky and counter-intuitive, when it's more intuitive and smooth to just spin forward toward the camera direction. Such that, if you want to Whirlwind Attack at a certain direction, you would spin the camera as you normally would, then hit this skill's hotkey. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 00:52, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

So you don't hit the shortcut and launch off a cliff or into a trap, dying horribly isn't any fun either. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 10:16, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
You can still fall off a cliff if you ground target. This skill runs the entire distance no matter where you target. The only thing that matters is direction, and that's what turning the camera operates for the entire game. So why this is treated differently is really unintuitive and makes harder to use than necessary.
A similar skill is Mirage Axe 2, which also dashes forward through enemies. But it doesn't ground target, so player response time is faster and results in much smoother game play. Yes sometimes you do fall off cliff, but you know what this skill does, and should reposition and turn the camera angle, or avoid using it in those situations--ground target or not. -- Shena'Fu (talk) 02:41, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
