Talk:The Lost Shores (meta event)

I'm not sure, but I think all the events in Southsun Cove fall under the meta event. Also not sure which ones impact the progression to the final battle.--Relyk 23:34, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

I am pretty sure that most of the listed events do not belong to the meta event. I can only confirm that "Protect the Lionguard demolition squad", "Maneuver the ancient karka back toward its nesting grounds", and "Defeat the ancient karka" actually do. Reminder: A event belongs to the meta event only if it is listed inside the meta event box, and not if the event is displayed outside/below the meta event box. --MRA 00:02, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
The demolition squad can only start if you've established up to camp karka. If it doesn't, both chains will still be on this page, as they all fall within the meta event. All events that occur within a meta event can be considered part of the meta event. All the events are part of the event lorewise anyways.--Relyk 00:16, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, all you need to do is get to the island in this phase, because after you finish the quest you recieve nothing to commemorate it. DRUGSandDANCING!

Does everyone get the same 2 types of Exotics?[edit]

One of them will be a Named level 80 exotic, and the other will be a "normal" (with a prefix) non-level 80 exotic.
Note that I'm not referring to the Ancient Karka Chest items. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.186.18.236 (talk).

No, both exotics were random and dependant on the level of the character, same with rares. I got 2 basic exotics when playing on a lvl 23 - both being in the 60-70 level range (had I knew that there'd be a chance for precursors, I would have played on my lvl 80 necro instead of using the scaling to level a lower character >.>). I'd imagine anyone and everyone had a chance for a decent exotic and a rarer exotic based on their level, since of the two exotics I got one was run-of-the-mill-everything and the other was a exotic-only skin (the exotic acolyte skin). Same here, I've been playing since launch but levelling very slowly so my highest level character was about 42. I got 2 items both level 60-70 (don't remember exactly). They sold for what, to me, was a lot of money so (if you ignore the hours of frustration trying to stay online and survive lag) for my level it was a good reward but I doubt I had any chance of a precursor. 109.148.225.194 23:18, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
