How to get in?

So! Fight after fight, I still can't get this - he won't even cast the whirpools for watery grave. Any tips anyone? Rose Of Kali 19:40, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

These days you kinda needa map that isn't doing so well in DPS. They spawn after you push him to phases where he flies off, IF he isn't invulnerable straight away and gets to do some attacks. They are circular swirling dark water ground AoEs surrounded by smaller tendrils (bone fingers) which pull you under. Try a late map. 49.184.75.217`

Yes! I saw that suggestion for the Found It achievement, and it finally worked. Loaded a map right after the timer started, and landed in an overflow with enough people to push phases, but not enough to burn too fast. That was an exciting fight, for once! Got my gloom and the kill with 40 seconds to spare. Rose Of Kali 04:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Possible Solution: I am reluctant to put this information here in the case Anet decides to remove it but -- Tequatl's toxic undertow is constantly active and if you just swim to the bottom right behind where tequatl stands (even when the event isn't up), you can use the Gloominator there and it counts. - jennis233 5/29/2016

New addition

So ANet added a 15 minute entrance which appears after defeating Tequatl

   Sparkfly Fen
   An access point for Tequatl’s Watery Grave will appear after Tequatl has been defeated. It will stay open for fifteen minutes and is located off the coast, southwest of Fabled Djannor.

I feel like adding this could be helpful. Also, the 24/7 bug was either fixed, or I'm just bad at looking for it.--Jaytee (talk) 22:07, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
