Question about the note: I'm pretty sure that you can only find/discover the journal after defeating the kingpin, and the only way to fight the Kingpin is to complete Risen Research. As a result how would a player even have the journal to give to Dahlia if they didn't complete the achievement? - Do_odleplex 17:12, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

It's possible to complete Pruning the Weed before completing Risen Research if you let someone else trigger the kingpin. I was actually helping someone in Siren's Landing last night, who had done exactly this and couldn't understand why they weren't able to hand the journal over to Dahlia: we realized it was because they hadn't completed Risen Research yet. --Idris (talk) 17:18, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
