Charges of rift energy research[edit]
I don't have a lot of research but this is what I have so far. The progression increase does not seem to be related to the amount of essence gained. You gain progression upon closing the rift. Motivations seem to have no affect on progression. The tier of the rift is the affects the quantity of progression towards the 250. T1 observed rewards between 2 and 8(it is likely to be 2 to 10). T2 observed rewards between 10 and 23(it is likely to be 10 to 25). And T3 observed rewards between 35 and 50(it is likely to be 30 to 50). The visual counter occasionally resets when changing maps, progress is kept but not viewable. XeroKitsune (talk) 00:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC) Edit: found updating results
- After completing the Wow. That's Flashy Armor. achievement, I can confirm that the values are correct, and the T3 rifts are indeed rewarding minimum 35 and not 30, as I never got below 35 points after doing T3 rifts (thankfully). Buismor (talk) 21:16, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
API armor naming vs page naming[edit]
So normally for each armor skin, you have the item page and the skin page. The item page is usually [Item name] and the skin page is usually [Item name (skin)]. For the suffused armor, anet has left the name "skin" in the item. It's in the API. You can see it for yourself at Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves. (The page, following normal api procedure would be called, "Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves Skin" How do we want these pages for this set named?
- Follow the API
- Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves Skin for the main page.
- Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greave (skin) for the skin page.
- Follow standard naming convention, ignoring API
- Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves for the main page.
- Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves (skin) for the skin page.
I think the API way makes the most sense, but it's also the most confusing. That said, I don't think most players really use the skin page vs the main page.--Rain Spell (talk) 06:29, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- As said on discord, we follow the API/ingame naming, therefore the first option is the correct one. ~Sime 16:05, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Note that the skin page should then just be “Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves” without the “(skin)” disambiguation suffix. So we have both Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves, for the skin, and Suffused Obsidian Heavy Greaves Skin, for the consumable item applying the skin. poke | talk 20:11, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
