Extra damage[edit]

How much extra damage? Must be pretty good for 2 min cooldown! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Darreljnz (talk).

Basically, it's just like attacking ~1 more time every 30s, right? I don't understand why anyone would choose to activate the signet. Pasta 04:22, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
You can use it with Signet of the Beastmaster and Quickening Zephyr for a strong damage spike, although I much prefer Signet of the Wild for that. Of course, having a 10% speed buff won't matter much if it's a life or death situation, so if one were to bring Signet of the Hunt anyway, might as well activate it... I'm not 100% sure, but I think the attack in this case (and many others) refers to use of skill, allowing this to be used for Rapid Fire in case you have Signet of the Beastmastery trait. I guess it might do some good on its own, without the trait, too, if you know your pet's attack patterns very well or are prepared to use their activated ability, in case it's a spike-damage like skill. It doesn't seem to work on me, i cannot see any difference in damage output (I obviously have Signet of the Beastmaster trait on) The preceding unsigned comment was added by Madreamer (talk • contribs).

Movement speed[edit]

Does this signet add 10% or 25% movement speed? Which is it? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 172.219.120.42 (talk).

Judging on movement speed I believe it is 25%, but I have yet to confirm it. ~Agendath
I updated the main article to clarify the following: The actual effect is a 25% speed increase as indicated by the description. The passive effect description (while you have the signet equipped) incorrectly indicates the speed boost is 10%. -- User Rohar icon.jpg Rohar (talk|contribs) 17:55, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Pet movement speed bonus[edit]

I've heard that SotH gives more than 25% to pets, can anyone confirm this? --Rapid Sausage 22:56, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Depends on how you look at it. If you are running at a foe, and use [F1] to tell the pet to attack, he'll slightly out race you to the target. If you are both boosted by a 25% speed increase, your pet will outdistance you faster with SotH since he's getting 25% on top of the already slightly higher speed. So, if your question is: "Is a pet running under SotH more than 25% faster than a character running at normal speed?", the answer is "Yes". If your asking "Does a pet get higher than a 25% boost vs his speed without SotH?", the answer is "No". -- User Rohar icon.jpg Rohar (talk|contribs) 17:53, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
