Could you be a bit more specific? Does the recipe use Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended), or is an "infused" prototype another version that isn't listed on the wiki yet? Does the item gain any additional Agony Resistance, as with a similar recipe for another ascended back item? --Felbryn 01:09, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

From what I understood (a friend explained to me how to make it glow), you take the ascended version of the prototype, and the item only gains sparkles, not any extra agony resistance or anything else. --76.87.124.104 19:45, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

From what I've read elsewhere, you upgrade the Prototype Fractal Capacitor (Ascended) to the Beta Fractal Capacitor (adds 5 agony resistance directly to it) using same recipe as quiver, only changing the quiver to the Fractal Capacitor. Then you take the Beta Fractal Capacitor and put in forge with another gift of ascensions, 250 ectos, and a shard of mist to make it glow (no stat changes). Also, I hear that you lose anything in the infusion slot when you upgrade (so if you had a infusion on the Beta Fractal Capacitor it would be gone when you got the Fractal Capacitor). The Quivers/Tomes don't seem to use the Shard, or at least no use is known at the moment. BioMasterZap 18:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

I just craft an infused item with this recipe : ascended ring + Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence *3 + Vial of Condensed Mists*5 + Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence

The recipe for the shard doesn't seem to work for me. Any suggestions? I'm using an ecto, coin, 5 globs and a fractal relic. 108.67.35.44 6:17am UTC 12/23/12

Drop Levels

Since Heart of Thorns added 50 new fractals, what levels do the Vial of Condensed Mists Essence, Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence, and Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence drop at now? Hekela (talk) 07:05, 5 November 2015 (UTC)
