Drop Rate

What kind of drop rate are we talking about for this? I opened 10-15 pods and didn't get it. Also, do we actually have to finish the Mouth of Mordremoth fight, or do any pods have a chance to drop it? -dangerCake (talk) 05:25, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Update: I didn't get it from the pods, even after opening over 20 of them, but I did get it from the reward chest after the fight. Info added to page. Drop rate research might be good, though. -dangerCake (talk) 00:46, 22 January 2016 (UTC)

I've gotten the others from both the pods and Moredremoth's Chest (end chest). The drop rate is rather low and random from the pods, but one is guaranteed from the end chest as far as I can tell. Seylan (talk) 07:59, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

The increased numbers of pods makes it far more likely you'll get one from the pods you encounter on your way to the chest. But yeah, I'd still go for the end chest as the main source. -Chieftain Alex 18:07, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

The discussion may be a bit old, but I've recently tried to get this collection item via Noxious Pods. The conclusion I came to is that the drop rate is less than 1 in 100, as after opening 104 Noxious Pods, I still did not have the collection item. Sadly the end chest prioritized a different collection every time I did it, so I still haven't gotten it from that either. Xaymar (talk) 14:32, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
