Talk:Legendary Sigil

Does not cause game to crash when swapping while equipped for me, is it happening for others still? If not the note could get removed, or phrasing changed to may cause a crash.

Noticed it lets me choose sigil of force while another is present, has anyone tested if the damage works? Aro User Aro Signature Logo.gif 18:35, 21 August 2020 (UTC)

I went ahead and removed the bug note as it appears to work fine for me as well. Thanks for the heads up on it.
While i haven't tested if it would give the bonus from Sigil of Force#Notes twice, the game likely treats legendary sigils as if they were their not legendary counterpart stat/bonus wise and as such provide the stat/bonus like two not legendary sigils would do. Given the note found in the article of the sigil (which i assume probably also applies to two handed weapons) it will probably only provide one bonus - even if one of them is technically a legendary sigil while the other is not - though. Anecdotal testing in boss blitz I'm seeing increased damage numbers. Will try comparing it to removing the legendary sigil. Aro User Aro Signature Logo.gif 03:23, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
Anecdotal questions/comment: Would it not be easier to test in a controlled environment like the Special Forces Training Area? Also, are you testing a two-handed weapon, two one-handed weapons or both? It could also be that the note on the Sigil of Forces article is wrong/outdated though i guess that could be determined based on what you find if you plan on sharing it; otherwise i'll probably have a look at it myself tomorrow. Intent was to test in real world situation/be lazy since my teef is at the blitz and if there seemed to be a difference do more testing on the golem afterwards. Used rifle deadeye, ascended weapon, (legend sigil as force+force), did not test two different weapons with force. Result: seemed to be a difference. Real testing may be worth it. What were your results? Aro User Aro Signature Logo.gif 00:42, 1 September 2020 (UTC)
I see. My results? So far i'm not sure i could figure anything out. I've attacked the golem with Symbol of Swiftness (Staff 3 on Guardian) as it seemed to do the same amount of damage to the golem every time. However when doing that with each combination of none, a single Sigil of Force and two Sigigls of Force as legendary sigils i've goten 490, 508 and 525 respectively; which seems to be about a 3.5% increase over each other instead of the 5% the sigils read so i'm not so sure i've done everything correct there. I've also attemted to do it with Axe/Shield though i didn't get consistent numbers there with any attack and attempting to get a reading from the golem over time attacking solely with Symbol of Vengeance (Axe 2) seemed to imply that double sigils really make no difference for two handed weapons; though i wouldn't rely on my testing here provided i only got a 3.5% precent increase when doing the before whereas it should have been 5% according to the descriptions so i'm not so sure i know how to test for this reliably and would encourage you to test it more throughly if you want to to see if you get different results than me as i don't know if mine are representative. Further testing controlling boons and condition variables shows it's not affecting damage. Slight variation in rotation seems to cover the damage difference. Getting similar results from dual force and no force. Force + another damage mod shows an increase.
Interestingly during testing I found the legendary sigil is available to all gear templates for one use. Guessing multiple up to 4 would do the same plus when the legendary armory comes out they will go account wide for all loadouts. Aro User Aro Signature Logo.gif 23:19, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
