Talk:Kill the Imbued Branded Champion

At the newer similar event just north of Brandview Waypoint, the champion faced was also called a Champion Imbued Aberration, but appeared to be an enhances branded siege devourer instead of a branded griffon. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sentinel Forgebound (talk • contribs).

I did the Destroyer one twice and got a Troll both times. That could have been a coincidence. It might be the Champ can take any form of the associated minion. SarielV 15:06, 11 May 2016 (UTC)

The one I got this info from was the one north of Brandview. Saw it via reddit post, image was of either griffon or veteran branded lieutenant - probably griffon. Was it a siege devourer model or just a large regular branded devourer (they are different)? Either way, more testing needed. The model could be random, though I'm doubtful. So I ran into a bugged event where there were 5 Champion Imbued Abberations. It was in Snowden so all icebrood. But each had a different model: Quaggan, Wolf, Kodan, large norn, and goliath. I did the branded ones a few times and got the most unique branded model out there. So I'm guessing it's either 100% random of any branded/destroyer/icebrood model and ability, or a wide RNG set. Because that ogre? Doesn't show up in the prior event - so it isn't just a 'one of the NPCs in the first event' like theorized. Konig 01:38, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

What happens exactly when this event fails?

Last I checked, the champion seems to explode/despawn. Nothing more. Konig 20:41, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
