Some clarification needed[edit]
I've been doing some work on Karma merchants, and karma acquired goods. I personally think that any NPC that offers goods in exchange for karma points should be considered and listed as a Karma merchant. This would include NPCs such as the Category:Cultural weaponsmiths, as well as Category:Renown heart NPCs. Any opinions? -- Wyn talk 07:10, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- There is probably some good reason not to have them included in the same classification, but I know that for my own use I'd prefer to have all places/merchants I can spend karma consolidated to one easily accessible location. Actually, "karma merchant" makes me think of renown heart NPCs before anything else, so I'm surprised they aren't already here. Vili 点 07:38, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- I understand having the separated categories, however, I think that the Karma merchant category should be the fullest, containing all NPCs that accept karma in return for goods. Not all karma merchants are renown heart npcs, though I believe all renown heart npcs become Karma merchants once there goal is accomplished. -- Wyn talk 09:06, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
- Came here looking for Renown Heart Karma vendor gear. Fireheart Rise map won't list them, the Karma Merch section won't list them... this is frustrating trying to think "where" the people that "organize" the wiki move stuff. Used to be able to look up any map and see the 6-8 Karma Merchants and what they offer. Now... where do I look? Here should have been it...
- Here. They are also noted by the yellow hearts on the Fireheart Rise page. You can check a merchant's stock by clicking on their NPC page. Vely►t►e 22:51, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- Maybe the wrong place to discuss this. But aren't renown hearts vendors offering their goods to you as a reward?? Maybe copy the 'items offered' from the vendor (example: Farmer Diah) to the renown heart page (e.g. Help Diah tend her farm) under a new section called reward. This way it is a click closer to the map page. It is a lot of work to do it though Ranique (talk) 23:02, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- We have List of karma merchant items. We also have list of renown hearts with the NPC on each zone. Listing karma merchant items by region is kind of silly.--Relyk ~ talk < 03:47, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
