on crit[edit]

is this in the actual skill description? if so we should add a sic. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 00:38, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure. I'm just starting the trait pages up based on what's in the list. EDIT: I wouldn't mind making everything more legible or coherent, I just don't know if that's an OK thing to do? - VGS 00:50, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
I see, I'm just going to move it outside of the description for now because it just sounds silly in a description. That skill page is currently being redone. Venom20 User Venom20-icon-0602-sm-black.png 02:19, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

All skills, or just explosions?[edit]

Does this trait apply burning on a critical hit with any weapon, or just with explosives? The description is a little non-specific when compared with, for example, Go for the Eyes, which specifies rifle crits only. Ajaxas 22:50, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

I don't think we need this note. The description states clearly "on critical hits", which are not bound to explosives or any other kind of attack. — Gnarf ~ El Psy Congroo ~ 06:56, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Agreed, removed. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken.png 13:33, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Internal cooldown[edit]

While playing with this trait and the grenade kit a lot, I noticed I never had more than one foe burning at a time. I did some testing at the grouped-up target golems in the Mists, hitting 3 of them with 3 grenades each time (grenadier perk). The golems were all hit by each grenade, thus 9 hits per throw. Again I was unable to get more than one target burning at a time so I can say with certainty that there is a cooldown on this trait; when it triggers, only one target is affected by the burn, you will not burn any other target hit with the grenade that caused the burn, nor are the other two grenades able to inflict the burn in the same volley. In a few events I was able to inflict the burn almost immediately after it expired, so the internal cooldown is very short. Shrapnel does not show this behaviour and is able to inflict multiple bleeds in the same volley (but inflicts a much weaker condition). --Kciroj 11:11, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
