Talk:Heart Speaks Not

The sylvari Traveler NPC at Heart Speaks Not has some dialogue if you chat with her, providing information about the Order of Whispers's involvement with the local grawl. I was wondering if this NPC could be listed as 'Traveler (Heart Speaks Not)' to differentiate her from the more commonplace Traveler NPCs found throughout the world who have no dialogue, so she'd have her own page with her dialogue listed. I tried to check the wiki for similar examples but couldn't fine any and am unsure what the guideline with such cases is in the wiki. Thoughts? --Kossage (talk) 19:55, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Usually, if there's only one NPC exception you add it to the page, and when editing the dialogue you write something similar to "This dialogue is only available with a sylvari in Heart Speaks Not" however, for this example Traveler (Heart Speaks Not) (moved to Traveler (Havoc Steppes)) would be good, because of various reasons: there's probably different dialogue with non-OoW orders, the fact that the NPC IS in an order and such. So yes, you are correct. --Ventriloquist 20:41, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for the swift and informative reply. I'll write a page for this NPC using the suggested article link. --Kossage (talk) 14:03, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
It appears that the young 'Villager' NPC in the area also has some additional dialogue. The boy doesn't belong to any of the orders, so I suppose I can list him under the generic Villager article and use the "This dialogue is only available with a human in Heart Speaks Not" instead of writing a separate article for him too using the above suggestion? Just makes me wonder how many of these seemingly generically named NPCs with actual dialogue options exist in the game's various zones... --Kossage (talk) 14:18, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
That's the beauty of documenting! I've experienced a lot of stuff in-game I wouldn't have if I didn't go around editing NPCs. Yes, go ahead and do that, good work on the Traveler page, too! --Ventriloquist 14:44, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
