It dropped instantly for me on Lionesses, after trying for a while on Sand Lions.. Maybe someone else can check - do only lionesses drop this? Not lions?
Drop Requirement[edit]
I don't know if this is just some sort of coincidence, but these refused to drop for me (I have the collection unlocked) on my Ranger after hours of killing Lions in the Crystal Desert. When I switched to my Revenant, my first kill dropped two. --107.4.57.67 22:04, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- Mine dropped pretty quickly on an Engineer. Meanwhile, I'm having a hell of a time finding a Junundu Bezoar on any character. It's almost certainly just RNG being RNG. --Idris (talk) 22:24, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- FACT: It does not drop for rangers. I spent over an hour killing ever lion/esse on the map and nothing. Switched to Revenant and the very first kill got it as a drop. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 184.7.41.180 (talk).

Feedback 2021/03/24[edit]
These drop from Aqua Stalkers, too! Spent an hour killing Sand Lions to no avail, but got the Foot Pads from the first Aqua Stalker I killed (in Elon Riverlands). --74.194.120.33 01:42, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Feedback 2021/11/28[edit]
Just dropped from a Sand Lioness in Sandswept, The Hunting Grounds. So it's limited not only to Crystal Desert, but rather to all Sand Lioness (and Lion too maybe) creatures. The item description may be outdated, because at the time of PoF release Sand Lions could be found only in Crystal Desert regions. And I believe drop is bound to a creature drop list, not to a specific region.
- Sandswept Isles is mechanically in the Crystal Desert so the description is ok. ~Sime 17:15, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
