Chrysanthea's Title[edit]
So like... when did Arenanet tell us that she took over shop for faolain? or is it just assumed?
- The editor who wrote the article assumed it was the case. However, there's been no confirmation in game or outside game (via dev interviews) about the matter yet from what I've seen. I've edited the article so it only contains actual facts and should remain that way until new information is revealed about the character. --Kossage (talk) 06:20, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
- It mentions that she's the only Duchess of the Nightmare Court. Does that include any possible Dukes? I don't want to rule that the Nightmare Court is a matriarchy just yet.--Rognik (talk) 04:30, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- All that line means is that she is the only known female member of the nightmare court that has the title of duchess. And no, there are no dukes, or at least not sylvari, or none that ANet has told us about. Also unless I'm mistaken, the most predominate members of the nightmare court are female, and it was run by Faolin so, I kinda have a hard time not seeing it as a matriarchy. - Doodleplex 05:00, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

Part of scrapped Nightmare Court elements in HoT story?[edit]
Anyone know if her sudden, unexpected appearance is related to the scrapped plans about Faolin/the Nightmare Court as mentioned here? (fifth paragraph) https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/48zlyd/im_mike_obrien_here_with_gw2_dev_team_ama/d0objzb/ --92.216.167.69 06:01, 9 September 2017 (UTC)
- That seems very likely. Dragon's Stand contains a northwestern area that people map-breaked into which revealed a whole new unused lane, thus explaining why the current Dragon's Stand map has its current unusual shape (as well as the fact that at launch the achievement for exploring Dragon's Stand included areas called Deserted Coast and Thorn Hollow which weren't accessible without map-breaking). Whether Chrysanthea had shown up during "Prisoners of the Dragon" or only in this scrapped lane (speculated to involve Nightmare Court to explain her sudden appearance as one of the ally NPCs in the final battle against Mordremoth) is unknown, though. --Kossage (talk) 23:32, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
