Guide to Disco Dancing Delver[edit]

From SCAR Camp Waypoint — [&BAAIAAA=] go North to the Scrap Rifle Adventure and jump down to the Cascade Descent point of interest.

Swim down to the Exalted Beacon then North West to the Beacon.

At the third Beacon head down and South West and swim through the very long tunnel to the West.

Just south of the Newborn Mushrooms Hero Point, the tunnel branches, turn South to the branch that heads up Ogre Lane (you will be under the Guano-Infused Spider Eggs Hero Point) and swim to the surface.

Use the crystal formations on the North West side of the grotto to climb up and head South East (along the Ogre Lane branch of the tunnels). Stick to the North side of the tunnel and use some gliding to make this a little faster. Climb up the tree roots in the above water cave (it's really tricky so take your time).

At the up, talk to the door (use option 3 "I'm the Zinnsational Zinn. Open this door immediately!" or it will knock you back), and (finally) go stand in the beam of light and use /dance to get the achievement.

Tips For jumping:

  • on a Charr, it is useful to draw your weapons so your character stands more upright and you can see your feet.
  • ANY character, use armor, or an outfit, that does not have a skirt so you can see your character's feet (alternatively, take your pants off).
  • Equipment Skins such as Cobalt & Fiery Dragon Sword, and Fires of Balthazar backpack, also help as they cast light on the surrounding area (visible only to the user).

Being able to see where your feet are will help tremendously for players that are slipping and falling on jumping puzzles a lot.

Thanks for the elaborate guide! I hope you do not mind that I added it to the actual page (albeit formatted). User Incarnazeus Signature.pngtalk 16:30, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
Thanks... I tried to but as a new user it wouldn't let me create the page. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Disco_Dancing_Delver --Syndis
I'm aware we have some Attila-the-Hun-level AbuseFilters setup to prevent spam, and we're always looking to address false positives, so I took a look to see which filter prevented your legitimate edits and why.
a) You aren't autoconfirmed yet (autoconfirmed users ignore most filters), b) the page was entirely new, and in the article namespace, c) the article length was quite long and had more than 5 external links in it.
The external links were all pointed at the wiki (we use internal links for links to other pages on the wiki, these look like [[this]] (i.e. the page name that you want to link to goes between double sets of square brackets - doing this would have meant the edit would have succeeded) so I think I will change the rule set a bit. Thanks for posting on the talk page, and apologies for the automated edit prevention. -Chieftain AlexUser Chieftain Alex sig.png 16:50, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
