Feedback 2016/05/17[edit]

All the bandit leaders for these new events have "Champion" in their name, but the bounties don't include this detail and the wiki is inconsistent on including the word in titles so I haven't moved the page. Also, although the story has clear links between bandits and white mantle (especially the ones in these events/raid/living story), there is a clear difference between them in game in terms of appearance, skills, and behavior, so it's best to leave speculation off for now. Articles names should always reflect the in-game name, unless there's multiple things with the same name in which a suffix in parantheses is added to elaborate on the differences. As for speculation, what do you refer to? Konig 05:17, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
So far these events have no details about the bandits, although the parallel to GW1 bounties is obvious. The only in-game evidence of them not being ordinary bandits is their unique trophy item. My previous comment was meant as an explanation as to why I changed the description about them being white mantle leaders to a trivia note, but also because I don't know whether they should be categorized as such until we know for sure. You should check out their weapons. Having White Mantle weapons and dropping White Mantle Badges is rather clear cut that these five individuals are White Mantle, but they are working as bandit operatives - placing them as both.
We don't know their ranking in the White Mantle, but we know they're White Mantle, and we know they're important in bandit hierarchy (it's important to note: thus far it seems that all bandits are orchestrated and led by the White Mantle, but not all White Mantle act as bandits and not all bandits are White Mantle - the lower tiers of bandits seem to be standard criminals or good people tricked or forced into committing crime due to the mechanizations of the White Mantle (directly or via aiding the Centaur War), for example; it seems that only the higher bandits are White Mantle or even knowledgeable of them, and as far as we know the lower tier White Mantle are acting as bandit leaders).
TL;DR It seems that low bandits are ignorant of White Mantle, high bandits are low White Mantle/low White Mantle are high bandits, and high White Mantle are in the shadows or in 'restricted areas' still (ala Matthias). I wouldn't call these five guys White Mantle leaders, but they are called bandit leaders. Konig 06:25, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
I haven't seen all of them and the ones I fought had too much visual clutter. They also had weapons not available in the raid which I tried to look at to take note of their skills, so I was mainly looking at their clothing which is still standard for bandit champions. I don't disagree with anything you've said which is why I also called them "bandit leaders" in the articles. Spannu (talk) 06:58, 18 May 2016 (UTC)
As to weapons apparently two new White Mantle weapons were added and I didn't know the sword (what I saw on Vic - I thought he was using dagger offhand but it was definitely close to the WM weapon design) was new. Konig 18:15, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Legendary Bandit Executioner[edit]

When Flyrra has been dispatched, a Leg. Bandit executioner takes her place. Ahh, checking his page, it seems he has a chance to show up after one of the Champ. bounty leaders is defeated ~Lya
